Thanks for the info Sano, it looks like a good read for a Q fan like me. I’ve got to pick this up as soon as I can.
Wow, thank you, Sano! I should of figured you would write out a description of the entire story for us! You are just awesome like that! Interesting story and LOL at the inside jokes. Can’t wait to pick this up!!
You’re welcome Shockdingo and Artayes! Thank goodness for spoiler tags.
So it’s actually at 12:00 AM Eastern, the Inafune interview. I guess that’s technically the 17th. Well about an hour to go…
Thanks a lot for the info pal. you made a awesome descripition, shame that we continue without knowing much about him yet
Can’t wait to see this issue…
I really enjoyed the main story. It’s a bit clipped as we progress through the tournament. I wish the whole warehouse/bomb/golden-ticket thing a few issues back had been better spent, but whatever.
The Ryu/Sagat fight was a good pay-off. Sagat baited for the el oh el, but then didn’t pay attention to meter when throwing a projectile. We’ve all been there.
As for the Q backstory. I was very disappointed. I want new info/new stories with those things. Oro’s was great, but Q’s was nothing more than we already knew. The art was cool, but if nothing was going to occur in the story (due to who Q is and his whole mystery motif), perhaps he was a bad choice for a spotlight feature?
I feel like even a story that just shows other fighter’s reactions to engaging him would have been awesome. Oh well, I still love this book.
Hey the Inafune online interview wasn’t as off topic as I thought! The Mega Man artist was there, Hitoshi Araga and he drew some MM sketches! Inafune did some MM sketches too. They showed off Udon’s English version of Mega Mix and he even showed off a bit of his new Mega Man / Rockman Gigamix manga. BLUES AKA PROTO MAN IN PLAIN CLOTHES! :clapdos: They showed Udon’s upcoming art books for Mega Man and Mega Man X too. Cool stuff!
Stayed up pretty late to catch it all though, super tired… I can use one of those E-Tank Energy Drinks they were drinking right about now…
BTW if you like any of Udon’s work in 2009 please vote for it in the thread below. No problem if you want to vote for Marvel, DC or other stuff from other companies of course. You don’t have to pick 5 in each category, 1 for whatever categories you want to vote for is fine.
Udon drops Mega Man Official Complete Works and Mega Man X Official Complete Works next week! Both go for $39.99 each. Happy 22nd Birthday Mega Man!
Lemme know if you get to see Roll-chan praying.:wgrin:
UDOn seriously needs to make the Ultimate Edition again for SF, giving the Turbo series the treatment. I’d get that real quick.
Around 0:53.

Sorry, couldn’t resist!
Got the two artbooks and they are really amazing! Gonna take me a while to comb through both!
Oh and there was a lot of Roll praying! It says in her bio that she prays for Mega Man’s safety and there’s a comic in the back of the MM book where she’s praying for his safety! Yeah her hands are folded just like the US cartoon intro heh. :lovin:
Yeah you, pushing the date up for that!:nunchuck: If only she and Mega weren’t so “teenage-looking” in that series.
Good. Did the comic have Roll saying to herself, “Kami-sama”/“Lord God” or did Udon have to modify that? Also did the MM artbook include the big two-page spread of Roll praying for big bro lying down on the table about to have the doc throw the switch?
Two-page spread is there. In the comic Roll says “I’ll pray for you…”
Modified. Ah well, no big surprise. Now we both know what both versions say.
So hype about the next issue. Makoto back-up!
Fate/Stay Night volume 6 hits stores next week.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Thought for sure we might get an announcement for a Super SFIV series… guess not.
I doubt Udon will publish a Super SFIV series. They’ve pushed back SFIII enough already.
Got SF Turbo #10 in the mail the other day, going to read it later tonight. Also trying to order the SF Tribute book since I got junk for X-mas.
That’s true. They can have 3 different series out though, like they did with Chun-Li, SFII Turbo series, and SFIV series.
Only now they could do SFIII series, Ibuki, and SSFIV mini.
Good point, or do something similar to how they handled Final Fight.
