Street Fighter II Turbo #10 comes out next week! Q BACK UP STORY!!!

HELL YES! Thanks for the head’s up like always, Sano! QQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQ!!!

I’m loving the preview art for Q’s backup story.

And I hope UDON releases another ULTIMATE edition for the Turbo series… and just in general.

OT follow up: Over on Capcom’s site you can ask Inafune questions here and he just might answer them tomorrow! I asked a bunch of continuity questions regarding Mega Man Powered Up and the second Mega Man GBA game that might not get answered lol! Ah well here’s hopin’! Direct links aren’t working right now for some reason. It’s currently on Capcom’s second page of blog entries.

The lastest issue of SF2 Turbo was amazing! The tourney is not turning out how I expected… :wow: Q back up story was really cool too.

EDIT: Seems like the Inafune interview is tonight, in 4 hours? Um okay… I guess 'cuz today’s the 17th in Japan…

I’ve been waiting for this issue, since the day it was announced, cause Q is one of my favorite characters, im not asking for spoilers, but, since i will not be able to get this issue anytime soon, i have just some questions. Q’s backstory explain what or who he is? or at least clear things a little more about him?

Yes, please, Sano, tell us what happens with Q. I am picking a few copies of this issue up regardless, but haven’t the chance yet. You can put it in a spoiler message if you want ,but please give us a quick sum up.

Q in Udon’s comic

[details=Spoiler] A police agent named Landon in LA is investigating Q and speaks with agents Crislip and Ono. Ono, get it? There’s a Capcom employee named Crislip too. And Landon, HA HA! Rueben Langdon, the mo-cap and voice actor for Dante in Devil May Cry 3 and 4 who also does his voice and Ken Masters’ English voice in SF4. Some big time Capcom employee jokes going on. :lovin:

Landon points out that Q has been popping up everywhere in locations like Hong Kong, San Francisco and Tokyo. He has also been at crime scenes, fighting competitions and film premieres! ROFL remember Q going to Fei-Long’s movie in the comic!

Landon comes up with a bunch of theories as to who exactly Q is. One is of him being a vigilante and the artwork along with this dialog is reminiscent of Batman. Another theory is him suggesting that he’s Chun-Li’s father lol! Well he doesn’t say Chun-Li or Dohrai, the artwork drives it home. And another theory about Q being brainwashed by Master Bison and Shadaloo, but again he doesn’t say Bison or Shadaloo, it’s what the artwork shows. Then he says he might be a robot or part of a secret robot army.

Soon Landon is told to pipe down since he is supposed to be looking for the black market arms dealer named Quentin Mozelli, leaving a strong impression to anyone who reads this comic that Q is Quentin Mozelli. Crislip and Ono regard Landon’s search for Q as someone who is looking for the Loch Ness monster or bigfoot. They don’t believe he really exists.

After they leave Landon’s office, you can see Q’s hands come behind Crislip and Ono, as if he’s about to strangle / kill them and that’s where the story leaves off.[/details]
