When is the next STREET FIGHTER or CAPCOM related comic coming out?

Hmmm…so I guess sakura legends TPB is late? along with other late TPB releases?

glad to hear streetfighter trade paperback vol. 3 is finally gonne be produced… any idea when the comic will hit holland or europe for that mather?

Just wanted to give a quicky shout out to the March issue of Tips & Tricks magazine, no. 145. I’m not too sure if it has hit the stores yet since I subscribe to the magazine, sometimes I get it early, sometimes it’s late and sometimes I get it at the same time as the stores get it. Subscriptions am funny…

Anyway, the issue contains an interview with Erik Ko (AKA Udoneko) and Omar Dogan regarding Street Fighter Legends Sakura. They also show the cover of the upcoming TPB.

In another section there are a few other books they mention and show the covers of like Rival Schools issue #3, the Mega Man NT Warrior Vol. 11 manga frim Viz and Devil’s Due’s Killer 7 TPB along with other video game comics, only no dates are given.

The magazine also has a full page article of the new Sota action figures of Ryu, Ken and Gouki(Akuma). And they show Sota’s Ryu resin statue where he is forming a Hadouken in his hands.

In the Japan Report of the magazine they talk about goodies regarding Devil May Cry’s Fifth Anniversary, the Dante and Trish commemoritive stamps and the new Japanese DMC book with sketches, CG Models, storyboards, design documents called the “Devil May Cry Graphic File” that will even feature artwork for the upcoming Devil May Cry 4 game! Well I’ll be sure to track this book down when I get some free time like a… Devil Hunter on a mission… to hunt Devils… I guess…

Oh and the magazine even has a mini strategy guide for Lost Planet… just in case… you get lost! Ha ha ha! Okay put the tomatoes down I’ll back away from the keyboard…

But yeah, check out the newest issue of Tips & Tricks if you are able too.

that’s some great info, sano. i’ll be sure to check out the issue

Ask in your local comic shop, Do some searching around, they are findable.

Slightly off topic but I noticed Erik Ko and Omar Dogan’s names at the end of the credits of the new Robotech Shadow Chronicles anime, they were in the Special Thanks section. Prolly ‘cuz Omar Dogan worked on the Robotech Shadow Chronicles comic. Man, Udon is everywhere. I saw Jim Lee and Paul Levitz’ names too in that section, I’m guessing because Jim Lee’s the Editor of Wildstorm and Paul is the editor of DC comics, so it all has to do with the comic. New Robotech anime kicks ass BTW, as did Omar Dogan’s prequel comic that he did last year.

According to Midtwon Comics DR Masters is releasing “SNK vs Capcom SVC Chaos Vol 1 TP New Printing.” Don’t know if it’s a second printing of the first book or what’s up with that exactly.

Has anyone realized the cover for Street Fighter IIlooks pretty rad?

I really hope Udon brings over the DMC Art book. I can’t wait to check out their Okami one, but DMC or Onimusha are the two series that I’d love to see… next to Darkstalkers or Rival Schools art books of course.

So, when is the next SFII issue (#7) and the next SFLegends issue coming out?

As far as I know, first the SF manga will start coming out before both of those comics start up again, so SF2 is on hiatus and SFL staring Chun-Li won’t start for a while.

In the meantime, according to Midtown comics this week both of the TPBs for Street Fighter II and Street Fighter Legends Sakura will be out.

So did anyone check out Lesean’s (drew the Adon vs. Sagat back up story, works on the Boondocks cartoon, his brother is SF Tourney player Sanford Kelly) art book that came out last week? Haven’t seen it, wondering if there’s any SF stuff in there… or Naruto, Samurai Champloo and a bunch of other stuff he’s a fan of… If I see the book somewhere I’ll try to thumb through it. Here it is anyway.

Also this week SF cover artist Jo Chen will draw the cover of Buffy The Vampire Slayer Vol 2 #1 (Season 8). Joss Whedon is writing it, it’s the official 8th season of the show, Buffy ended it’s run on TV after 7 seasons so it’s picking up where the series left off. Please Joss Whedon give Xander his eye back… Here’s the kick ass cover by Jo Chen!

Studio Udon will also release a graphic novel this week called Makeshift Miracle Vol. I. Don’t know too much about this one myself. Seems like it was an internet comic, Scott McCloud of ‘Understanding Comics’ digs it, guess it’s worth checking out.

Issue 6 should be out now right? Haven’t been able to track it down at my local comic shops :s

SF2 Issue #6 came out a few months back.

OT but I got the DMC Graphic File today ordering it online.

Very cool, suprised to see the name ‘Tony Redgrave’ on Ebony and Ivory, I suppose that’s where the first novel got the name Tony Redgrave from. Heck there’s even sketches for Tony Redgrave too, really nice. And he has a partner named Aisha that looks kind of like Trish, not sure what’s up with that - it may be someone from the novels that I forgot about. All of the artwork focuses on DMC1, there might be a few images from DMC3 but it’s mostly part 1. There’s pics of Vergil (to my understanding Vergil’s human look was designed during part 1 even if he didn’t appear human until part 3) in it too and of Trish, no Lucia or Lady. There’s an entire chapter dedicated to pics of Devil May Cry 4 in the back along with a Japanese interview of the creators of DMC4. The chapter is only 8 pages long though and 2 are of the interview. Very nice, I wish it had more images from 2 and 3. Still, lots of beautiful CG1, paint, drawings and sketches! Oh and you get some pretty good close ups of what Sparda looked like in human form, he’s called ‘The Count’ in the book. Very cool image of himself with his wife and his twin sons Dante and Vergil in the baby carraige. So yeah this is a great book overall. It is more celebrating DMC1’s anniversary than the entire series though. Oh and on the wrap around cover it reads “Stylish & Cool!”

Oo… that sounds pretty neat. Little saddened to hear that it focuses mainly on DMC1 though, I’d like to see art from all four of the games, but that’s just me. Nice to hear that there’s some info about the 4th game in it though. I wouldn’t mind seeing it translated by Udon, but I would be a little bummed by the lack of DMC2 and 3 material. Ah well!

Thanks for the info on Buffy Season 8.

It sucks that Street Fighter is put on hold . :frowning:

I am pissed about that.

But I will be getting the Street Fighter manga this summer.

Forgot to mention this but Jo Chen also drew the second cover of Buffy Season 8 that came out this past week. Looks like she will be the regular cover artist on that book, very cool. :lovin:

Special thanks to Apathy-Inc for reminding me of this. Gen 13 #7, drawn by Alvin Lee and inked by M3TH of Studio Udon came out yesterday so check it out!

This news is everywhere but the reason the SF2 comic is being delayed -
