I Have Waited For Awhile Udonekp, When Will She Appear? And Why Didn’t U Have Juni And Juli Go After Cammy Instead Of That Native Woman And The Other Doll?
Juli made a very minor appearence in a plane during #2 spying on Chun-Li and Guile… Unless that was Juni…
It was Juni in the plane. And yes, I think fans would have been more please to see the duo as the Twin Emperesses in Hong Kong.
Ironically, we’ve seen every single other Doll, but to my recollection, Juli has yet to make an appearance in the book. (barring group shots of course…)
(Juli is the most worthless Doll though, IMO. Have you tried playing as her in Alpha 3? She sucks!)
Prolly holdong out for T.Hawk’s appearance so they can go with the Juli/T.Hawk connection since SF Eternal seems to be going along with that over T.Hawk/Noembulu.
I like Juli, but… from a standing-out standpoint, she kinda pales in comparison to pretty much EVERY other Doll out there. When all the other Dolls either have specialized weapons or accessories or Juni’s ridiculously wide-array of special moves as well as the fact that Juli is actually one of the more sparse storyline Dolls (Noembelu has T. Hawk, Aprile has her brother, the Satsuki Sakura possible connection, Decapre in general, etc), Juli really has nothing compared to the rest of the Dolls besides her rack. It’s no wonder that Juli hasn’t done anything in the book besides group shots so far.
…okay, typically, racks are exploited for all they’re worth but the comic doesn’t have enough spare pages for that.
But yea, I suppose there’s a chance she’ll be the one who gets that T. Hawk relation instead of Noembelu. That would up her appearance amount significantly. …despite how ridiculous it will look if it ends up being the case.
I’m surprised I haven’t seen a bunch of people asking why all these Dolls were ‘made-up’ for the comic. Most likely the average Street Fighter fan wouldn’t even know the other 10 Dolls existed.
…then again, most Street Fighter fans I know don’t even know Juli and Juni exist either, come to think about it (they all teetered off around SSF2T)
Yeah… a LOT of people did.
well are they chinese
Seriously, I went to my friend’s house and popped in SF Aniiversary. He didn’t even know who Cammy, Dee Jay, T. Hawk and Fei Long were…
Most people recognize the World Warriors (the original 8) and Shadowlaw, but that’s it.
Uhh… no. You did not just hate on Juli.
You mixed it up, bro. JUNI is the one who is complete garbage. Charge versions of spiral arrow/cannon spike that aren’t even any more safe than Cammy’s? If you think her mach slide is any good, then you haven’t played enough with Third Strike Yang (they’re generally the same move), and her grab, well, it sucks, nuff said.
Juli’s lunge kick is better than the spiral arrow by far.
SHUT UP, NONE OF THESE DOLLLS ARE WORTHLESS ONLY YOU POSTERS! juni can teleport, how is that worthless?
You know, reading can help you learn, kid.
Juni’s teleport can be swept, smacked, supered, or whatever you want. It’s not really a teleport, just a fast dash that happens to be invisible.
Really? I could have sworn that I used it to go through projectiles on several occassions.
Whatever the case of who’s better in the games when you play as them, Juni’s… odd combination of charge moves and motion moves doesn’t mean anything when it comes to a comic book, so her wider array of moves gives her an advantage in terms of vying for show time, there (not that most battles in the American format have the chance to last beyond 3 moves anyways but theretically…)
Maybe it has upper body invincibility, but I’m sure it can be swept.
I was just addressing the claim that Juli sucked in A3, really. IMO, Juli is probably better than Cammy… but that’s just speaking from my limited experience.
Ah. Well, I’ll leave the talk about how good Juli is in SFA3 to a forum where it’s probably more on topic. Alas, poor Juli. You never even had a chance to throw a single punch in the comic yet. In fact, the only time I really remember seeing her was her getting slammed to the ground by Chun-Li’s dad, although it didn’t seem like it hurt her much.
Hmm… I think I’ll be really happy though if Juli and Juni get to successfully pull off their duo death cross dancing or psycho rolling attack for a clean hit at least once though. Death cross dancing will probably take too many panels when the comic’s space is on tight budget as it is (but if there is the time and space for it, it’ll look damn cool), but Psycho Rolling? Bwahahahaha, okay, it’ll probably look absolutely RIDICULOUS but that’s why I’d LOVE to see it. And given the shitty damage it does, whoever it hits will probably back off and say “Ow!” before glaring at them in amazement and snapping “What the hell was THAT!?”
And then Grumpy Surly Kei will shake her head and say “That was so stupid!” Because Grumpy Surly Kei makes everything better.
 Ism’t that just the truth…

Comparison:
Juni:
- Mid-air Spiral Arrow. Great for anti-air. Cammy only has this in the vs. games.
- Charge-motion Spiral Arrow & Cannon Spike. Eh, if you can do Guile/Charlie combos, it’s no big deal…
- 360-motion grab ( - Hard as hell to get off).
+/- “Teleport” - Bison summon super!!!
- Level 3 only Spin Drive Smasher
Juli:
- Cannon Strike: Retarded-looking Bruce Lee-wannabe flying kick that will pretty much cost you the round on block and you can’t even combo it.
- DP-motion Cannon Spike
- Hooligan Combination
- Biggest rack of all the Dolls
- Why even choose this character when you have Cammy & Juni?
I Hope They Dont Tey And Reveal That Juni And Juli Are Dykes In Love. Anyways Junis Movie Is Indeed Teleportation I Just Used It And Manage To Escape From Ryus Fire Ball Or Whatever He Calls That Squiggly Whie Thing That Swims Out Of His Hand.
Sure you can, low strong xx short cannon strike. And if you space it right, it’s safe. It’s faster than the Spiral Arrow and doesn’t suck (trust me, Spiral Arrow sucks in A3. It’s not CvS2 where it goes under everything).
Because she’s better than them?
