Is anyone doing the TK HHT?

For me doing a Deadpool bnb DHC into Proton Cannon does over 950k (970k if I start with j.S) so the TK HHT combo seems like a waste for under 900k for two bars.

Yeah I don’t do it only because my Deadpool/Doom DHCs do more than the TK combo. I can do the TK HHTs easy, but it just doesn’t seem practical when I can get more damage off of a DHC.

I’m considering adding it into failed teleport combos.

I can call an assist so that the HHT after the failed teleport connects even midscreen. However, I like the spacing that is created by letting them go far away and having most of the HHT hits miss. Afterwards, Deadpool is at a range where it doesn’t matter which direction they tech roll, he can hit them with a meaty L guns into teleport to start mixing up again. If I put the TK HHT in the combo it would still deal a lot of damage even with the mostly whiffed HHT at the end. It’s a lot of meter though.

Maybe this is dumb and I should go for damage I’m just trying to consider options.

When you are at the point in the combo where it is time for the katanarama chimichangas OTG, the opponent is all the way in the corner, and you are out of teleports what is the best way to use the failed teleport?

If I katanarama chimichangas it’s really awkward to try and follow up with the failed teleport. I’ve considered doing Quick Work L xx failed teleport but I’ve found it to be unreliable. Anyone have advice?

You do the failed teleport after the Rama/Changas,>combo. It’s purpose is as an OTG for your HHT super since Rama used the ground bounce, so think of it as the last thing you’re going to do before HHT.

I just do a M Katanarama xx Chimichangas into HHT but I’m not sure if its the best option.

Do you have anything that will use the failed teleport? I use that ender as well, it’s probably his most damaging ender without assists but it doesn’t setting up for using the failed teleport.

Just skip the wallbounce, do Katanarama into explosion. Should work in corner, but if you’re doing his basic cr.LMHS, air MMHS, Katanarama xx chimis, then you can do cr.HS, air HS, land, then explode.

Not sure if this is important since Deadpool already has an XF3 infinite, but I found a corner infinite using M Katanarama xx Chimis.

Damage is a little more or less depending on how well you land the HHT. The important thing about the combo aside from being pretty damaging is that it sets deadpool up for different stuff off of the wallbounce. He can go for a reset, dash up and do overhead into failed teleport, or teleport cancel out of chimichangas then overhead and failed teleport.

So I’m trying to pick up Vergil/Deadpool/Strider and I’m struggling to come up with a rapid slash extension for Deadpool. I’m new to Deadpool so the best I could come up with is c.m>c.h>s>j.m>j.m>j.h>j.s>land>A1>dp+h>qcf+h>land>qcb+h>s>j.h>j.s>qcf+atk+atk.
I can’t really DHC into spiral swords with this though so does any one have any ideas for a combo that ends on the ground?

You can DHC into spiral swords out of cuttin time. Wait until the after the 4th hit of cuttin time, then DHC. The super inputs for the next DHC switch back and forth as Deadpool switches sides so be careful. After the 4th hit he should be on the side he started on.

And for your combo since you’re not doing the optimal stuff anyway just do something like this after katanarama chimi:
(midscreen): dp+h h, qcf + h h, qcb + h, qcb + atk atk

If you want to change up the combo remember that you can go into cuttin time after any wall bounce, ground bounce or quick work.

The thing is, Deadpool combos take up both your ground and wall bounces, so Vergil doesn’t really get his followup options after spiral swords. I don’t like starting combos with quickwork either, so instead I just do Deadpool’s simple bnb (cr.LMHS air MMHS katana-chimichangas, cr.HS air HS air HHT) because then I save the first characters assist. DHC into spiral swords, dash+assist1(katanarama), high time, teleport down, deadpool’s assist keeps them in place, and then you’re sort of set up to do spiral swords, except that you’ve spent a bit of time so that you can’t do lunar phase into roundtrip. Since katanarama resets the ground bounce, you get that back, but you still don’t have your wall bounce.
