I saw from beginning to end:
Legend of ChunLi (friend bought it on bluray, wtf)
Dragonball Evolution (downloaded)
Dragon Wars (friend paid for movie ticket)
Battlefield Earth (friend’s dvd, wtf!)
Alone in the Dark movie(friend downloaded)
I experienced bits and pieces of:
House of the Dead movie (friend rented just to show me how horrible it was)
Legend of Mana game (I bought. luckily I was cautious and didn’t open it, played my friend’s copy first, then returned my copy)
The Last Airbender movie (copied a friend’s downloaded movie file. Previewed a few seconds of it, and promptly deleted it)
Street Fighter Generations anime (downloaded)
King of Fighters live-action movie (downloaded)
Oh yeah…Naruto. Interest was fading fast in the early era after that amazing Sasuke fight by the waterfall (*I don’t think anything good happened after that), but Shippuden briefly got me hooked again…and then it got stale too. I stopped watching shortly after Naruto vs. Orochimaru(*which looked more like a fight between two super-powered mutant demons…what’s “ninja” about that shit?) then looked up the final Sasuke vs. Itachi fight on youtube, and Sasuke vs. Killer Bee and I was completely done with the series after that.
Actually, that’s all you really have to do with that series, I guess…just look up the fights on youtube and ignore everything else. Everything else looks like boring, pointless crap. That series fell off so hard it’s depressing. Actually, perhaps Cartoon Network was wise to drop the shit after all…even those dumbasses were smart enough to see it wasn’t headed anywhere interesting.
Long-ass, frustrating RPG. It uses this “reaction-wheel” where you have to press buttons in time to get your moves to do decent damage. Shit was terrible. I was dedicated to finishing it though.
Until we got burglarized and everything we owned was stolen…including that daman game. Good riddance. I think that was one of the few good things about having all our shit stolen, Magna Carta was done.
Mortal Kombat. I think I got the 1st 2 previous gen games and I knew that the developers would never learn to make a playable fighting game. I can tell you one thing, though, those games were the most expensive coasters I’ve ever bought.
Yeah. Looking back, it’s truly sad that MKA was the game to make me realize that. I have hope they’ll prove me wrong and turn out something decent with MK9, but I’m still guarded like hell on that. Though MK9 is looking cool, I’m throwing it even less actual hype than Black Ops*.
*Treyarch should know good and damn well what pisses people off at this point from MW2, but I see them bringing too much of 2’s BS into their game.
oh forgot the 2 worst movies i’ve ever seen:
diary of mad black woman (only reason i sat through that was bcuz i was on a date, but i was super heated)
malibu’s most wanted (i was like 14 at the time and i was too cheap to take the L and walk out)
I kept trying to enjoy this game and played most of it if not all from what I can remember. Such a bad game that road on the coat tails of GTA. Lazy effort by Rockstar.
I sat and watched all of this movie called Sprung in the theater. It was lost time I’ll never forget. I would have had more fun mowing a lawn.
Most recent would be Resident Evil: Afterlife. I should have switched it off after the first 15 minutes but I dragged myself through it and it is probably the worst movie I’ve seen so far this year.
All of those Resi movies sucked ass.
The closest they got to the games was the 2nd movie Resident Evil:Apocalypse, and they ruined that one with a Nemesis that looked like something out of Jim Hensons puppet workshop.
I tried to get into Super Smash Bros. Brawl for 2 years. By the beginning of February 2010, I got fed up with the game for two main reasons: I was never really progressing at the game, going 0-2 in almost every tourney I entered (yes, I sucked, make fun of me), and the game just got dumber and dumber as time went by. I had no issues with the scene or anything, but I feel that it was overall a waste since I never improved.
OMG Magna Carta. I was so hype for that game. It looked awesome and PLAY made it sound fucking awesome. I actually liked the Wheel. That didn’t bother me at all. It was different and unique and easy as piss to use to so whatever,. It was the stage elements system that drove me INSANE! Nothing like having your whole team completely made useless by a stage element. Fucking bullshit. I i got decently far, got stuck due to that bullshit and broomed it fast. Fuck that game. You know what game did that whole area of effect status stuff well? Valkyrie Profile 2. Now that is one awesome ass RPG.
No, Stellar was just the icing on the crazy cake. Shinn’s real reason for wanting to kill Kira was because when Freedom beam spammed during a fight in SEED, one of the stray beams blew up his parents and sister. Of course, we don’t really know if it was Freedom’s beam or the jobber Kira was fighting, but that was his reasoning.
And it’s dumb to hate the seiyuu for Shinn when he’s just doing a job, don’t defend otakus’ craziness (unless it’s breaking the discs for FFXIII, that game sucked and deserved to be destroyed).
On topic, I also was one of the ignorant fools who attempted to watch Heroes past Season 1. I regret it.
Yeah seriously, fuck Shinn. Dude was a whiny little rage bitch who lashed out at the wrong fucking people. Yes, Kira killed the crazy ass girl you knew for like two seconds and didn’t even have feelings for (one of the many changes from the Special Edition, he was pro Luna from day one). You know what, whiny little rage bitch? SHE DESERVED IT. Fuck you.
I cheered when Kira came back and styled on the motherfucker in Strike Freedom, tossing both guns in the air and grabbing Destiny’s sword with his hands only to blast him in the face with the railguns = BALLER.
It was actually confirmed that the guy Kira was fighting fired the shot, not Kira himself.
Anyway, things I sat through even when they became garbage:
Bleach
Code Geass (Season 2 is a fucking abomination)
Heroes (Yeah, pretty much explains itself)
Smallville
Samurai 7 (not so much the series that got retarded, but certain parts of it…like that bitch Kirara who needed to die in a fire)
Bones (Seriously, hook Temp and Booth up and be done with it. Nobody cares about the “will they or won’t they” anymore)
The X-Files (No Mulder = GTFO)
Oh, and a special paragraph devoted to Aion. The game itself isn’t that bad. However, the retards running it are. They ran the shit into the ground with their subpar garbage customer support, and tendency to ban anyone they feel like even when said person has done nothing wrong, while completely ignoring the blatantly obvious bots running around on scripts at level 50.
I played that game for a year, until I too got banned for “using third-party software” that didn’t exist. Turns out, they did me a favor because they’re newest patch introduced even more retarded game breaking mechanics and made two classes godmode and the rest trash.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles with only 1 player. Shit gets stale really fast but i somehow was able to get far in the game where you get the white force field. Final Fantasy XII, I got up to Giruvegan and I gave up. Guilty Gear 2: Overture I beat the game and tried to play some online matches and got my ass whooped then I quit.
I watched Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within a couple of times and sat through the whole Legend of Chun-Li movie. I also dealt with Bleach up after the Bounto arc and Naruto up to like the 50th filler before going to read the manga.
