to me MK trilogy seemed like the biggest gimmk game besides MKA. Hey heres a cool idea lets add all the characters from every mk game what could go wrong? Ummm maybe the boss characters, Noob and Rain own everyone thats whats wrong with that. If you ban the boss characters Noob and Rain own everyone. Noob doesnt even need is infinite to win, he’s a brain dead character and not even fun to play agenst. I liked (PSX)MK Trilogy, it seemed to have the best of 2D MK all in one game. The cast was like a dream match of sorts, MKA however seemed to be just a messy compilation of the recent lousy 3D titles.
If i were to go back and start playing one again it would be Trilogy.
Would it be fair to consider MKT as broken as MVC2 in that case, oh and on the topic of braind dead characters I bet UMK3 Kabal is about as good as Noob in MKT.

They are top in their respective games, but Kabal isn’t anywhere near as broken as Noob, so it’s not exactly a fair comparison.
UMK3 Kabal is nowhere near the ranks of MKT Noob. Have you even played MKT Noob lol? Hell, you don’t even have to be a top player to notice the difference there…

A lot of characters can relaunch. Classic Sub Zero has the easiest and most universal relaunch(works on everyone except the female ninjas and Shang I believe), and he is tiered low.
That isn’t easy to do at all, really. Contrast that with Noob’s MKT infinite, which even a braindead monkey can do.
Kabal is not even close as good as Noob or Rain. Noob and Rain are the gods of MKT, Kabal isnt god tier. And as far as MKT go as tiers, Noob then Rain then everyone else if you dont count the bosses. As for UMK3 there is 10 top tiers, and Kabal isnt god tier

Alright I will concede and retract my comment of Kabal being as powerful as Noob and Ermac, he might not be as strong as them but he is still on the same level…just to a lesser degree.
