Whats so great about Melty Blood?

yes, but finding one out here, I assume would be impossible since nobodys really heard of it.

what is a japanophile exactly? someone that likes japanese culture too much or something? or should I just say anime?

hey for back story should i get the anime or what. And if not the anime for background story should i get the manga. wouldnt mind looking @ or reading something new if it is pretty good.

Get the manga ;O!

can u pm me with a place to find the manga. I was just starting to get the anime is it not worth the download

It’s worth the download, it’s decent enough on its own, but don’t treat it as much more than a foundation to start with.

And I don’t know of any places to get the manga X(.

There is a language pack for React FT??? Can someone post a link or something? I’ll be looking for it, but if anyone knows where it is, feel free to help me out. That might make it a bit more interesting.

There’s no language pack, a group had slowly started a translation but translationg games implies some heavy reverse engineering on top of the sheer translation so they kinda let the project die…

Btw, I didn’t see another stupid reason to like MB : play total psychos (since about everyone in the cast except Hisui (and perhaps Aoko) has some great problems in his/her head, usually leading to lots of bloodshed…)

I’ve seen it used as the former more than the latter. Most people just feed into the “Otaku” misconception by calling most “anime nerds” that(otaku).

version a is the initial bug fix.

you can look it up if you want to but ps2 runs on version b. there was never a version c.

Are you sure?

Didn’t we have this conversation in the other thread XD?

yea. i guess it’s confusing to some people cus the notation “version a” makes it sound like it’s the first version, but version a is the first revision.

Why is everyone hating on the game for being anime-esque? I mean, doesn’t just about every fighting game ever have moments when to becomes anime-esque? I mean…I do seem to recall Chun Li giggling and getting those “^^” eyes in at least a few Street Fighters. And there’s Sakura. Karin. Etc.

But cmon…is there any big fighting game that ISN’T made in Japan? Cept for MK. If you’re going to be hating on a game for being too Japanese, then you should probably hit up a non-fighting game forum.

People like what they like. I’ve seen Melty Blood in action, didn’t think it was that impressive, but hey…

starts up music

WELL THE WORLD DONT MOVE
TO THE BEAT OF JUST ONE DRUM…

Didn’t I mention this already in this thread?

The anime is OK if you want to see an anime with vampires and a different story, but not as a source of character background. For a good adaptation get the manga.

Both the anime and manga are licensed. Anime is Geneon. Manga is DrMaster. Since DrMaster is a relatively small publisher you might have some problems finding it in bookstores, so go to Amazon. 1 and 2 are already out. 3 is on preorder. The Japanese manga is about to get volume 4 so the US release is not too far behind.

Anime I guess you already found a fansub or something (its not hard anyways). Manga I am not aware of scanlations.

Edit: all three volumes are here http://www.cubicmall.com/

I’m not even going to read everything else, but why do people like Fist of the North Star? Why do people like Third Strike. It’s because they like it.

FotNS is too badass.

Hokuto no Ken is the manliest manga ever written.

I also play Hokuto no Ken for the sound effects.

What breasts?
