Classic 50/50…
if you running zero may cry, make tem block j. M while calling rapidslash - use command dash M if they pusblock and command dash H if they dont!
Just a basic corner mixup with Zero/Strider I made up a long, long time ago. Probably won’t be utilized too often since there are better options but I think it’s cool how you can do Sentsuizan > Buster while Zero is in the corner after the mixup and it forces the opponent back into the corner
Good job to Flux at Big Two. Zero takes third place after Marlin and Chris G. But I guess Zero is still without results. Cicso in the tier thread drives me nuts.
I think it’s sad we don’t know just how much XF3 Zero is capable of. Yea we know about the midscreen LLs - but since he’s so good on point, I don’t think any of us really think about the dumb stuff he can really do.
I posted before xfactor zero sogenmu c.m teleport becomes an unthrowable left/right mixup. buster if they pushblock for a different left/right unthrowable. its really good. xfactor s.H sogenmu to cancel pushblock, then do it. No one has blocked it all week in casuals.
Depends. Most of the time, no. but if I REALLY need him to be alive, then of course. But then again, Im starting to use Ammy anchor, so I tend to save it most of the time.
ALSO I think we should discuss something else that imo hasnt been discused too much, and it is Zero’s neutral game. We all know that Zero is supposed to zone and run away, and then kill off any random hits, but I think there’s more than that. For example, movement patterns, zoning patterns etc, it is good to free style with him, but it is also good to have nice and safe options to use and not run into a random super because you’re autopiloting.
That’s another thing, incoming mixups, I think many Zero players including myself have become lazy with our incoming mixups due to L Raikousen being so strong, I think we should explore more options because damn sure he has more than that.
I feel like the biggest issue I’ve had trying other incoming character mix-ups with Zero (w/o assists) is getting thrown. Raikousen mix-ups don’t get us thrown and that’s comforting.
You could always try Shippuga or a stand S while under the incoming character for an ambiguous cross up, but I still think they’re more risky and harder to confirm off of. Hienkyaku just gets you snatched up most of the time unless timed perfectly with an assist.
I would love to see some new incoming mix-up tech, though.
