Nothing is a crazy idea. What would make u come out to a major tourney? What I’m putting in place is going to change the way tourneys are done buy I would like more input from you guys. I’ll let u kno now, this tourney will be for the ppl not for the winners. I’ll give u a hint. Think about WSOP.

the food part is taken care of. cannot do the booze tho in this venue.
A place to easily watch great matches is always nice. Not casuals during the tourny itself, but post with some sort of incentive to stay and play for fun.
how about a set up where who ever can get 10 wins will get like 5 or ten bucks?
Well, if a major is held then most nearby would attend. The question is how to get others from far away to attend but the problem is that you can’t ask the West Coast, for example, what would make them come to a NY major by posting the thread in the NE section. Perhaps this thread would do better in FGD?
No thread does well in FGD.
But yeah, as far as I’m concerned, all I need for a really good tournament is the players, enough space, and good places to eat nearby. Those are my only concerns.
Naw man not when the main event is happening but during the prelimenaries. Them cheeseburgers would be good also.

i actually would favor this one the most but i dont know what would be a good split down that everyone would appreciate. this would obv mean that it would not matter how many ppl would enter but i will be willing to put the limit assuming that there will be 200 ppl entering one tourney game. even if i would have to pay out on my end. it would be nice to some how figure out a number where 1st will get a good amout all the way to 16th getting something also. i would say 50 all the way down but ppl take it seriously?

in my opinion this one has to stop. if you look at wsop even though they have more money to play with, it still makes it worth wild to still lose way on the bottom. out of 6000 ppl that enter those, they start paying out in the 600.

unless you already have the money NEVER EVER say guaranteed pot.
Man also make sure it is on a Friday or Saturday. The Sunday stuff does not work if you have to get up and work the next day.
of course man… lol thats what gauranteed would mean. it woudl be comming out of our pocket
