Would people prefer that to the tag system? I can imagine it would solve some of the issues that I find with the game, such as timeouts and abc tag combos. Most people seem to prefer practicing just one character as well. Tag is fun, but why don’t we have both modes, even skull girls can do both.
I would like it more just because 1v1 is my thing, though the current tag system is also good. The game would need minor adjustments to work well.
A large part of the strategy and fun would magically disappear in the blink of an eye.
You would die in two combos and more people would complain about how “bad” this game is.They would have to considerably nerf damage outputs on every character.
I would have loved to see this game be played with the SFIV engine.
It would need balance overhaul, some characters are better in point position than others. Chains should be removed or make everything cancelable out of chains instead of having EX versions doable right now.
If you hated the following characters during 2 v 2 than you would hate 1 v 1
Jack-X
Zangief
Ryu
Rufus
Guile
Because in all honesty, those five would RUN THIS GAME if it was 1 v 1
Weird. I don’t even wanna play SF4 on the SF4 engine.
It wouldn’t be SFxT. That’s about all I can take from it. The way tagging works in this game is one of the reasons I enjoy it; so for me, I’d probably not be nearly as interested.
Also:
OH GOD THIS SO MUCH.
Why do you even bother posting. If you have nothing to contribute to the topic then don’t post.
truth hurts
I actually have been fighting a lot of Jacks recently and I have to say he is absolutely a pain to fight.
Make a team out of any of those 5 right now and you’ll win EVO blindfolded.
You know what else hurts. Not being able to post.
Do not feed the trolls.
I think that it’d be interesting to see a 1v1 mode, but more of a side mode than anything else. Kind of like in Tekken Tag Tournament 1; I believe it gave you the option to do 1v1 fights.
I think that the tag system adds a ton to the game, and it would be a lot less fun if that were taken away…but I don’t think it could hurt to add more modes to the game. Though, if they enabled 1v1 online, that might cause a split in the online community, so I dunno…overall, I think it’s fine the way it is.
More boring, like SF4
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
This game runs on the same engine used in SF4.
No, this game doesn’t run on the same engine. The only thing that is similar between the two is their look; the models were based off of a Street Fighter IV style, as well as some of the basic animations like getting hit. The gameplay itself is not even close to the SFIV engine. They probably borrowed a few basic elements from it, but that’s about it.
The game already runs on the SF4 engine
Lol, the game runs on the same engine, just because a game is made using the same engine, it doesn’t mean that they would play alike.
MVC2 was made using the same engine of SF2, the more you know.
You are confusing Engine with Game mechanics
Putting it simple, the engine is the software where the game is made and runs.
How many games are out that are made using the Unreal Engine 3, or Havok?
So many, and from different genre to boot.
You definitly dont know what Engine means in video games
REEdAbOOK!!
Boring
