I really don’t want to be negative like this, but every time SRK changes everything gets worse. Old “Blue Steel” SRK was the best, and I like to think that’s not just nostalgia talking.
Maybe a total wipe (no tricky migration to bother with) and a switch to a more orthodox forum software would be a good thing.
At least it’s quicker.

It could also just be that I’m a lazy fuck, but this new layout also requires more effort to use. I liked how before, if I posted in a thread it would automatically watch the thread for me. Now I have to click a star that’s almost smaller than my mouse cursor to watch it. And the recently active feature is it’s own clusterfuck of a page.
So I’m finally browsing from myt home computer for a minute and wow this is not easy on the eyes.
Also when a post is quoted have we lost the ability to click on the quote and be automatically directed to the post it’s from?

It is a lot faster, and could probably be better than the old forum with some layout and aesthetic changes.
Practically every font in the new site layout is fucking obnoxious, and since this is my first post, I just realized how incredibly obnoxious the text is in the reply box. Its a combination of font size, possible bold? I cant tell since it’s so big, and an unorthodox font type on pretty much everything, including the topics. Arial or something else standard, please. The view and reply counts are also unnecessarily huge.
And the actual blue colour(s) used across the forum, on topic headers and embedded in the clickable links and tools throughout the forum is very light, and is also kinda hard on the eyes. Blue on white can make sense, but it should be quite a bit darker than it is currently.
For me the choice of the blue text just hurts my eyes and also how everything is layed out

You know what’s odd. I have a 16:9 monitor and I can usually drag the window so that it takes up half the screen and browse just fine. This new layout does not resize to fit the window so the ends of lines of text are cut off.
