Bookmarked notifications need some tweaking.
Let’s say 3 different people say something in the same thread before you get a chance to view it. They will show up as 3 different notifications. Previously this would show up as just 1 notification. Imagine being subscribed to a very active thread (like UMvC3:OTT) and being subscribed to other lesser active threads. You’d have like 100 notifications after 30 mins and you’d be unable to find the lesser active threads.
Does anyone else have forum name and character thread links all intertwined together? I’m seeing character thread links for Mortal Kombat mixed in with SFxT, etc.

I definitely would like a choice of skins…
It seems like members with long handles (innuendo if you like) have their/our names cut off in the forums.

Not sure if this is intended but I can’t stand when the navigation bar on top doesn’t extend/align to the right… leaving a strange/obnoxious grey squared field on top right…

Actually no - it’s not different at all. They could’ve easily kept the forums down until it was perfect - instead they got it to a point where it’s functional and opened them back up so we could post. Just b/c something is live doesn’t mean it’s the final version. That’s web development 101.
Things that are really needed:
- Dark interface option (white background is actually making my eyes sore)
- Recently updated threads at the top like the last forum
- SFxT forums being fixed; they’re not even on the main forum index, and all the character sub-forums are either linked from weird places or currently lost
- Notifications when your post is quoted/liked/agreed/disagreed with, the icon in the top bar gives you a number of unseen notifications like the last forum
_ Emotes, including SRK-specific fighting game notation stuff, need to be enabled
Wow… This new update is completely horrible. Especially with the Strategy Zone being completely out of order. I’d rather have the old forums back
the recently updated threads box wasn’t good imo. the only thing it did was draw attention to stupid threads or carry people to sections they wouldn’t have otherwise visited, resulting in even more idiotic off-topic posts. glad it’s gone.
if the person who said that posts can’t be edited after one hour was right, that’s awful for fighting game threads. faqs, combo threads, etc. can’t be properly managed with a restriction like that.

thats exactly why i liked it. it was a good reminder of what else was going on in other parts of the forums. occasionally you could see topics that might really interest you (including for other games) so you could check them out. plus its not like you HAVE to go and visit them either if you thought the topic was dumb, just ignore them.
plus like i said it definately helps some other threads get more exposure to the rest of the site. it always made me happy to see skullgirls getting attention, plus if it was a thread you like to check often it is always nice to see a direct link to it every now and then. i dont want to get reminded every single time someone makes a post, but a reminder once in a while is good.

So lets see. The most important part of a thread is what is written, so clearly we should make the small as fuck and the same text size as everything else in the thread so that it doesn’t stand out and its hard as fuck to read.
Then we’re going to have half of the font be in a light blue color that you cannot fucking see.
