Me, I just stop buying games for my 360 after my first ROD.
Same here, but I’m tempted to get another 360 just for skate 2.
Anyway, getting T6BR on PS3.
No way! Are you fucking serious?? I have a 20GB but I never paid any attention to the HD hookups and whatnot since I don’t have a HDTV yet. But my cousin asked me did my PS3 come with HD cables because his Xbox360 did. I said no, and assumed this was because I got mines used.
But are you telling me 20GB isn’t even capable of HD!!! Dude…I was gonna get a HDTV before T6BR dropped. I’m gonna be embarrassed to be the only fool out of my scene playing that shit on SD. Fuck.
I do have another one, is just that i can’t thrust my 360 anymore:sad:
it doesn’t come with the cable, but there’s definitely an hdmi port on the back. i have the 20gb and it’s hooked up via hdmi.
i’ll be playing on 360. i just haven’t really bothered playing anything online on ps3. i’m just too used to live, and that’s where all my friends play.
Whichever system makes the game not suck anymore.
Yeah, fuck this game.
Whew. Thanks for clearing that up. Wtf was Master Pogi talking about?
I’m still debating if I should get it or not. I’ve never played Tekken except for once at an arcade just to try it out. It was pretty fun, but I don’t know if I want to spend $60 without even knowing if I like it.
I’m assuming that most of the Tekken community would play it on the ps3 since they would’ve already had a ps3 because of DR.
Also, a large part of the Tekken community are pad players, and they’ll want to use their ps1/2/3 pad.
It’s pretty obvious…many people yet to realize that the release of Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion will be an EVENT.
I’m not biased and I like many games, but I think T6BR is gonna crush every other fighter, as well generate a hell of a lot of sales. Way more than SCIV. Tekken is Namco’s most profitable franchise. And now it’s on Xbox 360.
I think there will be very few PS3/360 owners, sans sports, rpg, and shooter fans only, who will not have this.
Agreed. Namco’s fighters have always been made using Sony’s latest home system hardware (or something derived from it) architecture, and all the Tekken games have always come home to Sony home systems. It makes sense on this point alone for there to be more ps3 T6br players out there.
Considering the only competition that will be available to the public will be nostalgia bombs, KOF, and a cute fighter, that’s not a hard throne to claim.
Now if you mean gameplay, well…let’s not do that.
Sometimes I wonder if this is why the rabid 360 fanboys proudly beat their chests about higher system sales…
im sure about it
For the most part, a LARGE majority of the Tekken scene plays on pad. Not that many play on stick, so the obvious choice would be PS3 since they already use DualShock pads to play. Blame T5DR arcade for having ports in the first place.
Anyway, PS3 for me because that’s what I own and that’s what most people will play on in the scene. Also, I don’t have faith in the netcode. Namco isn’t exactly up to par with that kind of thing and I really doubt they’ll care. It’ll still sell for them in America regardless.
SC 4 (ps3) online matches were pretty good. I think they can pull it off…but there was that one part of the interview where the Namco rep said something about the online experience for this game being different from what we’re used to. WDF did THAT mean?
PS3 all the way!!!
I dont know.
probably both. I have HDR on both, pre-order SFIV CE on both, so probably both.
Im realizing that PS3 sucks even for fighters. I bought import Battle Fantasia, MKDC, and SC4 on PS3 (DR but thats only on ps3) and I think if I had the 360 version, I would play those games more.
I mean, I thought that even HDR would be better to play on PS3, but that was wrong looks like all the real good people are on 360. I do have my issuses with the controller, so I dont play it much on that for that reason.
