What system will you play Tekken 6 on?

On a sheep.

PS3 all the way! I have both but IMO Tekken belongs on the Playstation!

i have both systems, but i would play it the PS3

Seeing as the only reason I bought a fucking PS3 was Tekken 6, and to a lesser extent DMC4 and RE5, all of which went multi-console, I’m still rolling with PS3.

Heard the damn game was developed for PS3 engine/hardware anyway. Even the arcade board. Only reason we haven’t had console 6.0 was because they were trying to port the game to Xbox360 for simultaneous multi-console release, and evidently the process was more difficult or time consuming than they originally thought so they just said, “Fuck it. We’ll just give them BR in nearly two years.”

Xbox 360 will no doubt invite more people to the scene but only time will tell how many will actually become competitive or just casual 10 string scrubs mashing out shit online.

Also, I wanna go to major tournaments, so I can care less about the online, other than for fuck off purposes.

none.

I doubt that the quality of PS3 players is going to be better (or worse), unless the netcode is as crappy as SC4’s where both systems have crap netcode- in which case no one will play online.

If the online is good, the 360 will likely have better netcode, which will bring in better players.
If it’s not good- I have no reason to get this.

 fires up DS

Actually, it’d be awesome to see a PSP port. dark Resurrection was pretty awesome on PSP.

That said, I won’t be playing Tekken 6 anytime soon as I don’t have a PS3 or 360 and probably won’t be getting one in the near future.

DS ftw

Whichever system gets Gon.

Also, only way to play fighters is on a stick.

Which ever system has the least problems online with the game

Since, I will being playing this game on a stick I will be picking the game up on the 360 because I do not have a PS3 yet.

Iif the netcode happens to be GGPO quality, there absolutely, positively will be better players on the PS3, at least for a long while after the game comes out. As I said earlier, Tekken Zaibatsu is incredibly partial to the PS3.

It just seems weird to play it on 360. But I’ll cop on PS3 unless I see some glaring reason not to do so.

Well, here’s the thing. When it comes to Tekken- I’m never going to be a top player. Therefore, there just has to be sufficient players better then me on both consoles for me to improve. Both consoles should have that, even in that case. Also, Tekken will never be my #1 priority. (I like the game, but I like other stuff more)

Please don’t take this as a slam on the PS3 or Tekken series.

Yeah, but the 20gig lacks the actual HDMI. Cables aren’t really a problem. It just lacks the whole freakin’ HD. So yeah…I’ll see how it goes.

Same here.

Both Cause I’m dat nice

This is very true. After using different game controllers for some time, I was going crazy with my execution limitation on them. Since I got my Hori stick, it just feels right.

100% yes, I was actually going to post this.

It’s not that the 360 version can’t be as arcade-perfect as the PS3 version, it’s just that the achieving the same level of accuracy on the 360 would take exponentially more work/time/money than it will take the developers on the PS3 version. Thus, the chances of it turning out arcade-perfect on 360 are lower than those of the PS3 version.

I’ve got no biases here. The 360 version of SFHD turned out way better (less buggy) than the PS3’s and as a mainly ST player I definitely feel like I own the wrong console right now, hahah.

X360 for sure. I ordered a XCM Cross Battle Adapter though. If it works (no lag) I’ll probably be tempted to double dip on SFIV, Tekken 6 etc.
