Street Fighter: The Movie (the arcade version, not the PSX/Saturn version).
It deserves another shot! Serious. Where else can you get the everything-cancels-into-everything-else combomania gameplay of SF:TM?

Now that Capcom has made SF4 with the 3D models and shiz i think its time for a new Project Justice!
And they need to continue with the cross overs. Akira andBatsu would be awesome in SF4.
QFTMT. I was just about to post this.
Thirded. Rival Schools/Project Justice had potential to become a really great franchise but I dont think Capcom treated it as seriously as they should have.
I think the fate of PJ and others, such as a new Darkstalkers, rests on the shoulders of SF4’s commercial success.
Power Stone 1/2 HD Remix
I think they should make SF Alpha 3 into an HD Remix version only with SF Alpha 2 music which was better than alpha 3’s music.
As long UDON doesn’t touch the beautiful 3rd Strike, I’m good. Just balance 3rd Strike, and trace over the original frames for HD goodness, that’s it. Same could be said with SFA2 or 3, but I’m a bigger fan of SFA2. Even though SFA3 has my man Fei Long.
I’m pretty sure they could rescan the frames, at least if they didn’t throw the originals away.
But yeah, if there’s gonna be any more HD remakes, keep UDON the fuck away.
I’m sorry, I’m all for supporting the community and all, but I’ve recently played HDR for myself and goddamn it is ugly.
Every single drawing would be a reason to be fired at my current job. It is an insult to every decent artist who happens to be a fan of SF.
Are you a professional artist? I don’t mean to derail the thread, but what advice would you give someone who wanted to improve their art skills?
As a side note, I can understand why some people dislike Udon’s work. However, everyone saying they prefer the old sprites scaled up is just being ridiculous. Maybe I don’t have the same eye for art that some of the people in SRK have, but it’s really not all that bad. Maybe people in the business like Bob could enlighten us as to what exactly they find so objectionable about it.
People are forgetting that how HDR turned out to look is partially the fault of that company Capcom hired when Udon said the job would be expensive. What Udon wanted to do was what we first saw in that Ryu comparison slide which was great, but when they took over the new design was already set.
My mind says and votes Alpha 3, but my heart demands SF1. With super bars, remixed music, controls that work, etc. etc…
Street fighter one
show them what started it all…in HD
I agree about the sprites. I also think they should re-balance the characters, though. They could just release a remix-balanced version of 3s.
As far as HD sprite-remixing a game goes, I think they shouldn’t do any more.
Why exactly are we not demanding HD sprites for a remixed 3S? Sure 3S has a lot more frames than ST but honestly it would only be 1% maybe even less of the total FX budget for RE5 and it’s not like STHD Remix hasn’t already proved that decent xbla games are phenomenal cash cows.
Third Strike, but not necessarily a remake. Capcom should just put it out as-is on Xbox 360 and Playstation.
Yeah I think it’s really important to note the Udon didn’t draw most of the actual frames. They did however do the initial art that those frames were based on. I could have done without the over-muscled look though. That said I’m so glad we have HD Remix. It rules despite all its faults.
I wouldn’t mind seeing some earlier KOF years btwn 95-98 seeing a HD remake
Just take the missing Alpha series characters, give them the UDON treatment, tweak each new character’s gameplay and animation to fit in seamlessly with HD remix’s engine. If done well, we’d be playing and learning the matchups for another 20 years.
Nah, take every SF character and put it in a 2v2/crossover style game. I vote for TvC’s style of drawing.
