It’s really easy to swap both of them out, requires minimal work actually.
I’d pick up one of the madcatz sticks thats on sale right now and swap out the buttons, buying the buttons at focusattack.com or paradisearcadeshop.com - its not very expensive
One of the button connector wires is completely broken (snapped off), and the USB cable is dodgy - it wouldn’t work for the longest time until I somehow managed to “fix” it by bending it just a certain way and then taping it to make sure it wouldn’t move. I’ve kind of gotten fed up with it so looking to just get a fresh new stick.
Both are easy fixes. Button quick disconnect is easy to replace. And you can replace the USB cable.
As there currently no Seimitsu arcade sticks on the market.
Whats up with the wiring on those wwe brawl sticks. I’ve only owned my for 8 months and now I have to hold the wire at an exact angle or it won’t work.
You mean the USB cable? Let me guess you wrap the cord around your stick? You would your cord around too often and too tightly and the USB cable has a break somewhere.
You just need to replace the whole cable. Easy fix, 4 wires to reconnect and your good to go.
I was wondering how good the Qanba Q1 is. I rarely hear people talking about it. But it seems like a great beginner’s stick. 60$ price tag and easily modded seems great. Is there any underlying issue that makes it lesser known?
needs to be either fully modable ( or stock ls-32/JLF and seimitsu/sanwa buttons). preferrably quite light too, but needs solid rubber feet (i can fix that myself)
is there any ones thats decent? will probably throw in a ps360+, would prefer if its a 360 stick so i can use the cerberus
Brawlstick/SEs are quite a bit smaller. Even the normal Tek-Case is a little bit smaller. The mini looks tiny by comparison but they aren’t available yet.
im debating if its worth hooking up b15sdm or someone else of the sick stickmakers and order a custom made small stick (think really small) thats robust and feels like a tank, if that makes sense lol
That all depends on how much money you want to throw at it- if you can dream it and pay for it, someone will make it. The SE/BS feels pretty damn sturdy to me, for what it’s worth.
On that note, a mini-case as a standard product sounds like another opportunity for business @"Jasen Hicks"
Sounds like you need a Panzer Fight Stick… (German for Tank Fight Stick). I’ve designed and built a number of cases. Doing something small should be a piece of cake ;-D
