So I was playing against someone named ChristiansRocks in Ranked Battle.
I was using Chun/Wesker/Zero, while he was using She-Hulk/Wolverine/Chun. I won both matches pretty convincingly, until I received this message.
“Or all people under 6th lord all spam? What a shame.”
My response: “What are you referring to?”
His response: “What am I referring to? What else? I said spam, meaning you spam. I’m referring to you spamming because you suck. Spam.”
So rushing down with Zero equals spam? I don’t understand.
I’ve gotten a couple of salty messages already. The first day I played online I beat this dude that was like 8-0 and afterwards I got a message that just said “u suk” - I ended some guy’s 20 game win streak and he sent me a message detailing why I’m the worst player ever. I just responded with “y” and he went on to give me a detailed list of everything I did that he thought was awful (admittedly I did completely whiff a hyper) - Each item on his list ended with a homophobic adjective and concluded his well thought argument with “Go drink bleach and die in a grease fire slut” 
- I’m sure I’ve been abused in voice chat too but I keep it muted so my ears don’t bleed.
This is why I love multiplayer fighting games; people get so angry when they lose.

people that send lots of hatemail forgot one thing: in ANY game, if it works, abuse that shit to death. And if they don’t adapt, then keep abuse spams.
Beside, Sent isn’t as good as it used to be, I think Hulk might be even better then Sent (in some situation due to the longer range grab).
Anyway, someone got salty after I use Ryu/Tasky/Sent (Sent was used as assist entire match) “goddamn spammer stop using the fuckign arrows” (note: that’s after he use amaterasu and try to cold star me all day with Sent assist.)
I just sent him “no problem, I will stop spamming arrow after u stop spamming cold star with Sent assist”
BTW: I got a weird feeling tasky’s BnB will cause a bunch of hatemail (esp if u nail the dude at the corner)
I never knew that spam walking was such an issue gasp.
Got called an Emo ****** because of my Dante, Deadpool, and Ryu set up.
So I responded with ‘Steroids Taste Good’ because he used Hulk, Haggar, and Thor.
My inbox is full of hatemail. I counted a total of 8 ragequitters. When people quit early on me, I just send them an “lol.” Today a total of 8 rage quitters with 2 replies.

if i practiced 4 10mins i can learn those cheap tricks but there is very little skill involved all u do is play fighting games step into halo u wont get a kill but i step into ur arena and almost beat u small little brain u have there

I personnaly receive a “Nice spam son of a bitch” each 30 matchs or so (3 so far). I play Haggar/Doom/Sent since day 1.
The reply is always the same : “GUARDING - overrated”.
I love the people that say “vs me on CoD or Halo and I’ll kick your ass”. I had it on Guitar Hero 3 loads. Why bother saying “I’ll kick your ass at Halo” when the game you’re playing is currently NOT Halo? Do people think that you’ll suddenly be like “oh sorry I messed with you then” if they win?
It confuses me. Also the lack of grammar skills from hate mail also confuses me. Doesn’t hurt to spell words correctly does it?
Actually, I just wanted to share a very positive exchange I had yesterday.
So I get on, and even though I haven’t been playing much this past week, I’m usually still winning quite a lot more than I lose, only having really gotten raped like twice (which was more my own stupidity for not learning how to counter Iron Man sooner). Well, I take my usually-winning team (Zero, Akuma, and Arthur/Chun-li), and the guy absolutely obliterates me using Zero alone (with Assists, obviously).
We probably played a good 10-15 matches, with me occasionally moving the team around to try and react, but he dominated me. After he left, I just sent him a “Dude, you play a badass Zero” type of message, and he actually replied with a huge message, telling me some strategies I should use for Zero, and what some of my weaknesses were.
Having grown bitter and cynical of the Xbox Live community, it was just really nice that someone would take the time to give some pointers to his fellow gamer.
That’s something I wish more people would do actually. It would make being pummeled by someone a lot better than me sting less if I could be told what things I do wrong etc.

I got the same message from ViewsuXXX. He sent another rant filled message yesterday, I couldn’t understand wth he was talking about though.
I run with Haggar/Dormammu/Sent, with Haggar at the point. I prefer to play with Hag but when the projectile spam gets crazy, Haggar has to fall back. I only get hate when I play custom matches with the search parameters set to “any”.

It stated that he will not play any Sentinel players and if he happens to run into any he will spam until he goes back to the dashboard.
I know a lot of us are playing (or trying to) at a Competitive level, but when I see stuff like that, I start to think these guys care about games more than we ever could

Finally somebody salty after getting Sent-raped.
Absolutely demolished a team using hulk with no assists today. I didnt do any taunting or anything to warrant hatemail other maybe killing him to fast. Aftre the match he sends me a message accusing me of doing an infinite with hulk and that i should learn to play the game. I laughed then sent him a reply back explaining that it wasnt an infinite and that hulks s.H has super armor. even went on about how to counter it thinking i would be nice and help him out with countering it.
After a few messages back and forth and him still complaining and me still trying to explain what happened, he sends me a message saying that after the s.H i would launch him in the air and he couldnt do anything about it. Thats when i realized he was talking about the combo. SO i end this whole debacle with a message saying “its called a combo. everyone character has one”
