I’m not very good, but after beating this guy he sent me a message telling me “I’m hacking you.” Wtf?
I’ve been enjoying Hulk these last two days, but I knew he would receive the same hate that Sentinel gets due to super armor attacks. I beat a Tron/Wesker/IM team mostly with my Hulk and of course, “Scrub” comes up in my messages.
My first hate mail said “stop using the same move”. Also it was pretty much the only one I ever got =(.
My first hate mail was some guy who said I got a cheap win using Doom. About half way trhough the match I switched to Doom and started Plasma Beaming. He proceeded to just run to the other side of the screen and block. I told him that if he wasn’t going to stop me from beaming then why would I stop.
He’s just saying that to psyche you out. Fill out a Grief Report and let Sony deal with his stupid ass.
I get lots of this (intermingled with general Sentinel hatred). My response usually draws their attention to the fact that they are indeed insulting themselves and that I needn’t employ any other more advanced techniques if “spamming the same shit” has them so perplexed.

Honestly, I don’t mind the ragequits and hate mail seeing as they can’t seem to get the idea of push blocking and keep away down. I usually tell them to do just that. But hey, they would rather throw a temper tantrum then get better. I would like to see them get better so I can improve myself through stronger opponents, but the hate mail is still quite entertaining itself.
Same thing here - Doom’s beam generates agro. I just usually reply with “<3 you forever”.

I just started playing online today, and it’s actually going pretty good. Just a few minutes ago I played two matches against someone, And during the second match I chose Amaterasu, Chun-li and Akuma, while he selected Dante, Trish and Akuma.
Anyhow, he basically took down Amaterasu and Akuma before I even got a chance to hit him at all, so it was Chun-li versus his whole team with nearly full health. By some miracle I manage to win with just a sliver of health though (X-factor helped quite a bit), and after the match I could actually sense the incoming hate-mail, which I received shortly afterwards.
The message reads: "no skill there bud… so shitty. lol"
I then reply with "You’re welcome ;)"
And then comes another message “come back when you dont mash like the ***** you are”
Actually I felt like apologizing at first, because I’m not one who usually spams, but I guess I did overuse Chun-li’s fast kicks slightly.

I know what you mean, and I agree. Though, some people seem to blame their loss on the opponent’s tactics, such as overuse or spamming of certain attacks, even though there are ways to get around pretty much any tactic in the game. I’d prefer not to give them reason to do that.
Lately I’ve had my messages set to friends only so people could stay salty if they got bodied. Recently, I decided to see what the MvC3 salt tasted like. I get about 3 ragequits every time I play.

ECHOx410xPoLo sent me a voice message after I took out his X-Factor 3 Ryu shooting random shinku hadokens and nearly taking out my whole team. He got mad cause I taunted at the end after whacking him on the head with the pipe. He says stop using the same move over and over, and that I had no skill cause I did the same move. I texted him back saying “Yea, maybe I should learn random X-factor 3 hadoken beams. Stay free simple mode scrub.” Then I get like 2 more voice messages about how he wasn’t using simple mode (bullshit) and that even if he was, I was still bad for doing the same move.

I think that there can be such a thing as spamming attacks. It may not be a bad thing though. If its the way to beat someone then go for it. If i know that if i let an opponent in he will tear me apart i wont let him in! At the same time, if i know that getting up close and personal is best way i’ll do that. Using the same attack over and over if definitely winning ugly though…grinding out that win! I feel bad after i’ve done it as i know its not the most skillful way in the world but it works.
Thing that bugs me is when its the same move right from the start…its just so boring. But its always been that way since SF2. Lost count how many times i hear hadokenhadokenhadoken etc when to shotos are battling it out.
Anyway still no hatemail!! 
Thought i would get some after a guy left me with just Hulk against his entire team. On went the x-factor and out came the gamma charges, air combos and many hyper combos lol. He assited at the wrong time which helped…right at the start of a hyper combo. but no hatemail! Not sure what i have to do lol.
