Agreed. Rage quitting is lame. Almost as lame as sending the guy who quit a message trying to tough talk him.

Not a message but I got into a rank match with someone named SmGy207. I used my A team of Spencer/Doom/Haggar and he had Wesker/Zero/Sentinel. I was struggling at the start as he used Wesker’s teleport shenanigans to make quick work of Spencer. Once Doom came in I manage to almost OCV his team with Doom’s runaway and zoning. The moment that Sent’s level 3 X-factor ran it’s course he rage quit. I was quite suspicious of this guy as he had 126 wins and I had a higher ranking then him with less than half the wins. I sent him a message saying “enjoy ragequitter hell”. Never got a reply back
I’ve gotten a few hate mails from me running with deadpool, however they always blame my sent for the loss. Funny thing is… I usually beat them before they even get to sent…
lol i didnt have any ragequits til today, and im 20-27 in record. the first guy accused me of spamming with amaterasu, then accused me of ‘not letting him hit the ground’ looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool
I think I’ve had a quick change of heart … I don’t know what it is but after spending a lot more time with it … I actually love the way the game plays.
Yes it is cheap compared to SSFIV but I don’t think I even mind. I guess the issue is leaving people responsible for forming teams that can face any situation.
But yeah, seems SSFIV will take a break … We decided to make MvC 3 our new game tonight after realizing we’ve been playing SFIV for 2 years.
Got my first batches of hatemail btw, surprisingly for using deadpool … Couldn’t really be bothered to entertain either with a response.
I fought some random guy online that kept super-jumping and throwing out crouching shorts. I’d just block, punish with ground to aerial team combo, into an air hyper cancel over and over and over.
The end of that match, I say ‘‘good game’’ like usual and I hear ‘‘Wooow nice spamming’’. I just left the room because I hate dealing with people’s senseless and ignorant anger.
Then I get the inevitable voice message. ‘‘Wow, you know, some people do combos and stuff, and some people spam. You’re just the spamming type, I get it.’’ He just wouldn’t take his loss like a man and learn from his mistakes.
So I sent a reply back. ‘‘All you people see is the one dimension, you never see the third. You see spamming, I see punishing you with team combos, hypers, and setting you up with my assists. Just learn from your mistake and move on.’’
Then I proceed to get 9 voice messages from him calling me a terrible player, and I didn’t listen to most of them. Whatever. Hopefully some of these players with anger issues will be rooted out in the coming weeks.
After OCV’ing this guy twice in a row with Sentinel, he was not pleased.
Honestly I don’t see the point of hate mail and rage quitting. I would never send hate mail to someone who beat more nor would I send mail that talks shit on someone I just beat. I live in Japan so when I play in my region its obviously always Japanese players (this was SSFIV, I rarely if ever play against people in the states because of the connection issues) and they NEVER rage quit and never send hate mail. And is it me or do people send more hate mail on Xbox Live than PSN? I suspect that may have something to do with depth of Xbox Live when compared to that of PSN.
I had this one really laggy match against some guy last night who sent me a message saying “The lag saved you”. The only thing lag did for him was prolong his defeat. He kept trying to cross me up and I ended up doing Phoenix’s healing hyper twice for nothing. 
First match online i have and i recieve this after the match.

Me to all the Dante/Wesker/Sentinel/Akuma’s: Should probably actually learn the characters moves rather than spamming the same stuff/fake overheads trying to win.
Them: F you!!! Dormammu is way OP and there was lag and Taskmaster is too fast and Ironman is just a natural counter to Sentinel!!!

after I played against an Mag/Wesker/Gouki team, I can tell the dude has the right idea about using wesker, just not quite sure how to use him with proper assist help, so I just sent him a message telling him gg (even through he killed my hagger/trish/hulk team easy), and give him a few pointer on using wesker with gouki assist. And he was nice about it and actually thank me for it.
See, that’s how a proper conversation post game should have been…beside, we’re all n00b once, and people should always help each other to get better, whenever we can.
One thing I found out through, lots of ppl are spamming Sent’s H move a lot…its getting annoying…
You should be happy when the Sents just spam H and aren’t looking to do/can’t do anything else. It’s when the Sents learn simple 4-5 hit (and hyper on top) combos that take off 700k health that you have to worry.
