Yea on psn you suffer a lot of ragequits… then again that just means you can find a decent player to have a few matches with even easier… b/c he terrible players dont stick around for more than a match… if that…
I’ve had a few against you on psn preppy… all low tier… fun as hell… and there are plenty of others out there who won’t be d-bags… just gotta own on some ragequitters for 20 or 30 mins to find em…
My fav thing to hear from ragequitters is “***”… a sure fire sign that not only are they bad at fighting games… but also not very good at talking smack…lol
I normally say something like “I’ll be sure to mention that to my wife while beating your ass”… lol granted im a dick half the time… but… i know how to take my lumps when i’m getting out played…
It’s really a viscous cycle where noobs get owned… and then ragequit before they played long enough to figure out why they get owned… I remember losing over and over again 10 years ago (when it was 50 cents per play) so that I COULD learn how to not lose… apparently thats not something kids do today…
Some guy posted in the PSN thread that he RQ to test it out and was awarded a loss. I don’t know if he was confused, or if the type of RQ matters (pulling the plug, or pressing start and leaving).
So i started playing, got my rank up to #23, ran in to this CiaNapkin, he RQ and then i just stopped playing ranked when the leaderboard updated and showed he had 0 losses.
I’ve only played one game ever on PSN (ranked/leaderboard), and beat somebody using pad and only buttons, no fireballs or other useful motions. I’ve generally only been on XBLA. Maybe it was somebody else using my team… ? O_o
yea unless it may have been someone you know playing on your console… you might want to shoot sony an email and see if anyone has used your account from elsewhere… b/c it was definately “zackdms”
Ragequitters are annoying… but at the same time… that given player wont be wanting to fight your screen name again anytime soon… so you at least get that…
Ranked boards are crap for the most part… Ive at times beat someone and they RQ literally during my teams win pose… and they still didnt get a loss…
damn you sf4. you created a bunch of monsters within the fighting game community. my thing is, if someone says your using bugs, which is not true, then they are getting their info from somewhere, so why are they so ignorant to the fact that what theyre saying is very false.
side note. i gotta a stick and started playing god tier teams. LOL. my thread has been contradicted. but i still fucks with my low tiers a lot still. mostly just usin scc. workin on my msp. been 5 years. ew!
I don’t use a head set, but before one match I could hear the other guy criticizing me right away. “This is probably some newb kid or he’s just gonna pick MSP and be all gay.” I picked Mega Man, B.Heart, and…I forgot. Any way, as I’m picking them, he’s moaning, "Oh, Mega Man…how original. Blackheart, the surprises keep coming."
I don’t speak for all here, but so far I’ve seen exactly nobody play MM/BH. Add that to this kid running Storm/Sent/Cable, the #1 “I just picked this game up” team around.
Within 20 seconds Storm was killed off by MM.
Ever been trash-talked by a 20-year old, asthmatic white dude with his buddy in the room? I’m glad I didn’t have a headset on, cause my friend Al and I were in near hysterics.
B.B. Hood, Mega Man, and Hulk are three of my five best characters. For some crazy reason, every other time I win a match using ANY of these guys, I get a message roughly reading, "learn 2 play."
What’s wrong with losing to the Hood? Haven’t these kids seen that video with the high guy laughing his arse off while plugging Watts? I’m just paying homage.
i was about to say, I’ve seen that combination quite a bit on PSN/XBL, on SRK, at tournaments, and heard about it from peeps. it’s a pretty beastly combo controlling dem x and y axises.
Playing last night I beat bh/sent/cyke using wolvie/ken/thanos… I don’t think I got hit til the last 15 seconds when his cyke landed a lucky random MOB… he then taunted after it… and then lost 5 seconds later…
So the next match we run back the same teams and I beat him using only the A2 button… (ken AAA) over and over again… dude didn’t even make it to time… he sent me a msg saying “learn a combo and then invite me ***”… sent one back saying “I don’t like to use more buttons than my opp makes me…” lol
God I fking hate these people… til yer ass learns to lose with some dignity… you don’t learn shit…
