Very true… if they “fixed” every infinite in the game… vets around here would just start tearing people up with cammy, sim, anak… the list goes on… if you removed the god tier entirely there would just be a “new god ter” that would take over…
I’ve moved to using Amingo for about 70% of my matches precisely because there’s pretty much jack you can say bad about Amingo, and I’m still generally throttling about 80% of people just using that.
The Reality Check is that they’re just bad, and clinging to any excuse they can find. Modern self-righteousness at its finest. And yeah - if you ban god tier, then people will just cream you with Cyke, Iron Man, Doom, etc and so on down the line. When in doubt, mirror match. Experienced players will beat up on crying noobs in mirror matches too. =P So dumb. I’ve set more people on MUTE in MvC2 online than I have in Halo. 
It cracks me up when you beat someone and they rage quit on you and then a little wile later you get a friend request or a message asking to add them, its frikin retarded. Learn to lose.

Finally got a good one… out of mercy i’ll leave out the username…
here’s the setup… i pick jill/cammy/psy… i forgot who he picked. anyway after rushing him down it’s his cable at half life with one super versus my quarter life jill with full cammy/psy. 50 seconds on clock. after multiple attempts at rushing him down trying to end it, i realize that this guy is just jumping back and blocking, not even attacking… well, if YOU’RE not gonna play, then I’M not gonna play… so I do the same… jump up back for 50 seconds lol. sends a msg saying “nice turtle skills” or something like that, and I reply, “well i was just doing what your cable was doing”… and then we go into back and forth messaging about how he’d rather lose than to run away all day (wtf? wasn’t he doing that with his cable? he started it lol) blah blah blah
he proceeds to pick dan and does the same jump back run away crap… beat him again… more back and forth msgs
i deleted all the messages cuz it was just stupid… then he msgs me one more time… this made me LOL…

Perfect One got on my “try to piss off” list after I played him once when I was learning Storm and he sat and moaned all match about Storm, “AW BITCH YOU’RE PICKIN STORM, SCRUB?”, I beat him that match and he voiced “you can’t even play cheap ass characters bitch”, now that I’m better with her I enjoy plugging in my mic to say “I can’t even play this cheap ass character” every time I beat him with her now. I never get the chance anymore because he quits when he sees me
You and me both, I heard him whining in the mic in our match so I sent him some kind of message like “lol” and he sent me all these “Learn to tri jump scrub” kind of messages, telling me someone as bad as me who uses Doom’s AntiAir assist too much will be at the bottom of the leaderboards forever, after I beat his MSP on my controller using my crappy Mags/Storm/Doom team when I was still learning Storm.
This will make you think he’d probably bite his tongue even more, he’s a SRK user.

rat-O-rama: A TON. I eventually blocked him because he was getting really annoying with those messages. Some of them include:

This guy “Die Already 07” hands down is the most annoying all time. If I landed 1 (1!) combo on him he started bitching saying I was garbage with varying swear words. When I started a strider/doom trap with 4 meters, he started and NEVER STOPPED bitching constantly about my garbagenes and cheapness.
It was so annoying I had to unplug my mic. My room mate walked through and heard this muffled screaming and immediately knew who I was playing against. Sad thing was I played him 2 months ago and he still is not better.
That guy sounds like a riot. I want to take him on.
Anyway, just got back from playing, and WOW. I never could’ve imagined that the top ranked player in the Scoreboard Matches on the PSN was such a cowardly bastard. I was thoroughly whipping that guy, and he bolted. I messaged him letting him know just that…that he had no losses just because he runs from the challengers that actually put up a fight.
Can’t remember his username. X followed by a string of numbers.
EPIC FAIL.
I played “Die Already 07” multiple times over the course of a few weeks, and man, does he complain. I’ll still play him, though, cause even if he still sucks he is inadvertently funny as hell.
The worst thing about it is he joined my room that ALWAYS has a 2 person limit. If you did not like my Iceman/Strider/Doom team 3 days ago enough to curse the names of my whole family out during the matches we had… Why in the hell would you want to face them now? It is still going to be just as annoying 
And its not like the matches were close I was finishing both of his first 2 characters with icebeams only lmao.
Also I would love to see a day in this guys life. MTV’s Diary should hook it up
