The best was this past weekend. I played XI Raw IX and lost. I will admit I played super poorly, starting with my assist character arrogantly and I shouldn’t have lost. Then he sends me a “lol faggot”. When I lost! Aren’t people supposed to send messages when they lose, not win?
I double snapped this one dood in ranked and as soon as I killed off the assist, he ragequits and messages me “sorry, bad connection.” Then he proceeds to invite me for like 30 minutes when I haven’t been replying to him at all and he kept on asking for a re-match.
Considering that he didn’t even touch me, I think his ego was just hurt and felt like he had to show that he was “better” than me, if he was at all. I mean he was trying HARD to get another match with me.
I hate guys who play decent, RQ and feel like they didn’t deserve a loss and try and show you why. Like as if they DO end up beating you in friendly, they probably feel like they get a “free pass” on the RQ. Fuck that. I don’t care if you can beat me 9/10. I still deserve that 1 win as he deserves the loss.
The game does freeze on occasion though.
I joined a player room where Hammer Pie and Warbling Dove were having a raucous time playing each other, amusing each other on the mic. I’m on mute and pick Amingo/Thanos/Tron. Dove starts talking to Hammer about “Amingo?! That guy is garbage. Gimme a second, I’ll get this guy to rage quit so we can play each other again!”, as he picks Mag/Doom/Tron. Hammer says “Wait, I think this is the Amingo guy I was telling you about…” Four snapbacks by Amingo later… :lol:
They were asking why I’d be picking Amingo instead of top tier: I pointed out that it was way more amusing to beat people with Amingo than with top tier. Cactus planet ftw. :tup:

I understand that. Its just that a RQ during a double snap/road to perfection is pretty much the equivalent to RQing 2nd round, after losing one, of an SF4 match right after you get ultrad.
His first character was almost dead, his assist was dead, my magnus/team had full health with psylocke. He basically had a dead storm, then sent left with no AAA.
It might be a connection issue, but probably like a .05% chance. I mean, double snap and almost perfect then he ragequits? Thats just entirely too convenient for him considering our connection was not laggy at all.
I almost prefer the message “pussssay” than a lying “sorry, bad connection.”
Also, I killed his assist, storm came back in, he was blocking holding back, and THEN the RQ happens? I don’t think so.

This one guy, I think his gamer tag was SH Patriot or some shit like that, sent me a message earlier stating that I was “a fuckn noob”. Sort of weird seeing as I nigh got a perfect on him, about 5 pixels of life gone on first char. What an awesome way to tackle a loss.

I played a guy in player match 5 times today, i won 3, he won 2. anyway, it was before i went to work. i lost the 5th match, left the room, and went to the xbox dashboard. he sent me a message, im like, ok he was going to give me congrats for playing a few games, i would do the same. i open my inbox and i see this:
“learn to play”
wtf? i respond that i beat him 3 out of 5. he said that “i dont run, i sprint”.
WTF DOES THAT MEAN? i then responded that some people have jobs and they dont have all day to play marvel, lose more times than win, and then say the opponent sucks at the game.
honestly, the logic of these retards is astounding. the “trolls” on marvel may be worse than the ones on SF4, and that is saying something.
I got “fucking rage quitter!” after quitting because the game froze…He wasn’t even winning.
I responded: “It froze only seconds in! u weren’t even winning!”
I later got: “bullshit”

He messaged me back “lucky snap back. i dont care, its only fair that i RQ”
What exactly is that supposed to mean?
- I picked MSP. Half the reason why we pick this team is for snap backs. How exactly is a snap back lucky? Magneto has to be within ARMS distance, the opponent has to be NOT BLOCKING, and has to call his assist at the EXACT same time as he is NOT BLOCKING. Not only that, but once they get hit by psylocke/c.lk, c.mp its all about REACTION time. It seems that almost any snapback isn’t “luck.” I’ve yet to see a scrub consistently get snap backs.

I was playing against OffstageJunyah’s friend in Player using Amingo/Thanos/Tron against Spiral/Cable/Sent, and OCVd his team and he dropped… and Junyah spent half of the next match laughing at his ragey friend. I was really glad that someone else saw the humor in Team Duc quitting against Amingo.
