my friend, who is horrid can’t even air combo, was called cheap for using sentinel. If some of these guys were any good at basic fighting they could easily beat my friend instead of judging him by what character he played.

I think this was after his Blackheart/Cable/CC, or some other high/top tier team, lost to my Team Scrub. I think. Just one of those matchups where you’re like - you really picked that team and expected me to go easy?
Also, tip: calling people by the wrong name (in this case, “zac”) defangs the venom of your insult. Just leave the name out if you’re not sure. Or if you want to include it, check to see if their gamertag gives you a hint on how to spell it right. :rolleyes:
Probably my favorite today was somebody shouting something over his microphone about how I was all “eh eh eh eh ahahahahahaha” as my Megaman/Tron beat his Ryu/Sent/Iron Man or something like that. There was probably more to his insults, but it’s hard to hear chatter over the game noise when you don’t have your headset plugged in.

Im just stunned by the cognitive dissonance of someone saying “keep hiding behind your assists” while playing Doom with rocks. His team had no other way to do damage EXCEPT rocks and 2 bar THC for chip from Kobun. (And that was the most fun I’ve had using the King Kobun super, lemme tell ya

I played Omega Red in a player room with a couple of cool guys, and one of them said Omega Red was whipping them like they were slaves… It was so wrong lol.
DIE ALREADY 07 calls his Cable-A assist, I call Thanos-B and Amingo does a nice FSD combo on his Guile. He immediately yells that I’m an assist whore. I then stop calling assists for the rest of the match (after those 2-3 calls) and proceed to OCV him with Amingo : him yelling that I’m a pssy btch f*g and all I do is block … while I’m in the middle of comboing him. He then proceed to go on a rant for most of the match about how he’s going to punch me in the face in real life.
I think he meant that he was frustrated that he couldn’t hit me once. I’m not sure what I was supposed to do.
I wish people would tell you in advance what THE RULES for Marvel are. :rolleyes:

i was beating a kids ass with clockwork, he complained the entire match about lag (i didn’t receive any lag at all). he ragequit and sent me a message saying that the match lagged when my strider was out. ok, only strider? I brought out blackheart as well, so it was pretty funny, the kid was like in elementary tho
when strider puts all that shit out, yes it can lag badly, but you probably wouldn’t notice (and probably think you’re extra l33t too). either that, or the lag is more apparent when you can’t get out of places you normally could offline because of strider+lag. and please shut up about “it wasn’t lagging on my screen” since we know that sometimes it’s only 1 person getting the worse end of lag.
What setting is your Sprite Filter set to?
Anything other than Classic WILL cause extra lag. Strider’s sprites are the most CPU intensive in the game, so yeah - it WILL lag just on their end.
