Best I’ve had with mic user’s was a ‘FUCK’ after i stuffed this ryu out of all his moves in the first round… totally threw me off and i lost, turns out his ryu was pretty solid **.
Oh no wait, i had one sakura player laughing the entire time whilst we were playing… I messaged him afterwards and he said he couldn’t concentrate because ‘thats a damn fine dress’ (chun alt colour 10) :P.

I don’t blame you for doubting. Trust me, I couldn’t believe it either. In fact, part of me wonders if this guy was just fucking with me. But many of my friends have told me that it sounds too outlandish to be made up ;-).
Lol i just got called bad by doing nothing but Fireball and DP threw a mic. Then the guys asked me if i beat off to Chun Li and do i think shes thick. I really didnt think ppl were that stupid. I had no answer cuz i was too stupified by the question.

I have “Sorry for your loss” in my profile and lost an extremely close (see: any blocked special would have finished the match) Gen vs Dictator ranked match and the guy just repeated my quote to me. I just said I screwed up on the second round and he then said that I was “fucking good” so we decided to continue with about six more non ranked games after that. Eventually the games started to swing my way until there was no contest, but this guy was about to go to sleep so maybe he was just tired.
Two things:
I had a scrub Ken in the corner with Rufus, and all of a sudden, I hear, “Why is everyone playing this game so cheap?” Considering the round just started, I hadn’t thrown yet, or even had time to do more than 2 snake strikes, what the heck is the definition of cheap these days? Or he was on a losing streak.
Last night, I beat a scrub Ken with Rufus, and I was being a dick on the mic, I admit (I laughed when I won… but jesus, it was terrible by scrub ken standards). But I get this in my inbox:
“fat ass”
I mean, that’s it? That’s not even really anything. I never get the good hate mail.
I want what Eshelon’s having, even if it’s not entirely true. Best I ever got was someone screaming at me that I DP’ed jump-ins.

I was surprised that A) He was counting how many times he got thrown B) He didn’t attempt to tech out of maybe 90% of those C) Threw baited Shoryu’s so that I could throw him.
I don’t mind people messaging me saying “Hey you suck” or stuff like that, but physical threats…ONLINE? Yea…no.
Yeah, and you know that douche is probably 14 years old and built like a toothpick.
God damn, dude. I can be rough with my equipment sometimes but at least I try not to break anything.
People have way too much ego over some fighting game. You are not Daigo Umehara, it’s ok if you lose a match. There are people out there who are just better than you.
If I may comment on the 09 join date issue. I’d be willing to bet that a good percentage of the people who just recently joined due to SF4’s release are a lot older than most of the members who have been here for some time but that does not mean that we have no idea what we’re talking about when it comes to SF or fighting games in general. Those complaining may have more time logged in a forum and on xbox live but don’t go kidding yourself thinking that you have more experience behind a joystick.
Making stupid comments on a forum is not reserved exclusively for those who just joined, I’ve seen plenty of moderators put their foots in their mouths (not here specifically but in general).
To stay on topic, the worst I’ve gotten was “Who’s the Ultimate Demon now?”. I got a “Sick Akuma!” also which made me feel great until I actually ran into a Sick Akuma who utterly destroyed me. Whoever that was…um… “Sick Akuma!”

I see most of the people discussed here have memorized this shit by now. I’m surprised people actually THREATEN ragequits that dump them out of the entire game.
I fought that guy today - I didn’t know he was a fellow SRKr.
V laggy and not particularly good either (he just spammed Ken’s FDP, but because of lag, I couldn’t do jack [lag caused me 3 second input delay - I was Guile…] so got beat).
I usually get messages complimenting my Ryu, but I do get the occasional hatemail.
Although there was one funny message I got a few days ago. I was facing this Cammy player, I won the first round and they won the second. On the final round, I decided to go all out and got a perfect for the win. I get this message:
Subject: Jesus Christ
“Geez, was going all out like that really necessary???”
I told him my controller’s battery was about to die and I had to finish the match quick.
LOL! That does it, I’m only playing with a drained battery from now on!
