Ken has been my main for YEARS but I’m freaking switching, at least until things die down.
Between all the Ken/shoto hate in here, and all the damn noob Ken players doing nothing but F.SRK wakeups (gives me plenty of chances to practice my combos :-P)…I just got sick of being part of that crowd.
I have been maining Akuma and Guile and still doing well for myself. Once I get better practiced with Guile’s combos I think I will be comfortable with him as my main. Until then its Akuma…he takes a CRAPLOAD of damage but his arsenal of moves makes up for that.
Am I the only one using the “Businesswoman” title?
It just feels appropriate since I’m trying to main Viper.
BTW, my first post-SF4-match mail warmed my heart. I played it as soon as I got home after purchasing it on release day and the guy I played first said:
“That was my first match online. Thanks for making it awesome!”
“I dc’ed cause you kept doing the same thing over and over, I own cunts in tekken”
or something like that, he was referring to my scissor kicks…
On another note, I have too little posts to make a thread so I’ll have to post my problem here. Does anybody have trouble finding games? When I look for a custom match I can’t find any at all, at any time. Ever since I got the game I cant find a match even if I set everything to “ANY”. I have no problems creating and having people join (which is what I’ve been doing). I also play against my friend every night, however I cannot find any online games. It always comes back with “no games found”. Any ideas? It’s been like this ever since I got the game.
For you “advance” players, why do you throw scrubs when they turtle? Take that time and learn mix-ups to break their shell. Silly, to think you learning something beating a scrub like that. Just my two cents…
There is NOTHING to be gleaned from fighting a scrub. If a player is bad enough to let me keep throwing him all around the stage, then the #1 priority on my list is getting out of that match ASAP so I can fight someone that can actually help me improve.
And maybe they’ll learn a thing or two about throws.
I’m not good enough yet to get any really pissed off messages. The one comment I’ve gotten the entire time was “nice perfect”. A lot of people pulling when they lose though, even in player matches. Do they realize those don’t count for anything?
was playing against a pretty scrubby akuma with my gief, i think i SPD him like 7 times and one Ultra, they messaged me and said “all you do is cross up and grab, you suck”, the some how i played them again on ranked, and i kept stuffing his aerial fireball with lariat… he messaged be back and said “don’t you know how to play?” lol
because that’s what you do vs people who only hold back…advanced players won’t learn anything anyways. Here at least they’re teaching you a lesson that holding back alone isnt’ going to win games.
