Broken-meter
Very Balanced (almost no difference between tiers)
Balanced
Unbalanced (big gap between tiers, bottom part of cast is unplayable competitively)
--------------------[the need to force custom gameplay rules for game to be competitive]-------
A bit broken (minor bugs)
Broken (there are infinites but they require skill)
Super Broken (with easy infinites like Superman’s ground pound)
Please expand it with some ideas
A game can be balanced, but need custom gameplay rules in order to get it there.
One example- Sam Sho V Special and Enja’s glitch move
Some tourney games that are very popular in the US have horrible balance, some balanced games don’t do well. Tourney viable and broken don’t go together all that often.
if it has anime in it its probably going to be broken
ps: good thread necro
Soul Calibur III. Dictionary definition of a broken game, which is a shame because it looks and sounds like a million bucks. But it has the G2 glitch, plus a lot of instances where it freezes when you try to play with another person.
Namco is quite possibly the worst company when it comes to beta testing their games. They’ve had save corrupts in the last couple SC games as well as stuff like these game-breaking G2 glitches. You’d think after once they’d have figured it out.
why did you bump this terrible thread
so you could post twice on the same page with two different accounts.
