?? Reversal window is stupid, but that’s bad execution design. Input leniency is stupid, but that’s execution related. Throws are fine in 4, and so are ultras.
So… you think giving everyone a vortex like Akuma’s would be a good idea?

You wouldn’t be the first, and you won’t be the last. Just don’t bother.
I have no idea how anyone could even look at Vega and Sakura and say knockdown loops aren’t stronger in other games with a straight face.
I read what he said. I still disagree with him. He was talking about fg’s as if you have to figure out everything by yourself and that it is a very slow process. He believes that the final product (top level play) is vastly different from the product in the beginning. I’m saying that that is bullshit. The initial look and feel of the game won’t change. How the minutia of systems in those games affect the outcome of play will change, but it’s not like you will be playing something that feels wildly different. After playing the game for 30 minutes and watching top level play for 30 minutes should be enough to determine whether or not you will like the end result. Also, to say that it is a “waste of time” to put in lots of effort to eventually find out that you don’t like what the real game is is just straight up stupid. What happened to playing the game and getting better at it just because you liked it? I don’t know how you can say it’s a waste to put in all that effort if you enjoyed it up to that point. You get your money’s worth that’s for sure, moreso than the standard videogames that come out onto the market.
also ST is the biggest boss i have seen thus far
No, that’s not what I was referring to. But since you asked, I don’t see why it would matter honestly outside of being for variation sake.
Gief with that oki…err, I mean “vortex”? Sounds great.
was just playin some smash bros with my crew. my friends falco started spacing me and dropped a mad vortex on me. tyhank god it was only a friendly or i would of busted out my real tactics
googled it in another vid. never seen that before, so I can’t comment on it. my bad.
edit: the vid he sent made me think it was something else
there’s far more factors in that fight than difficulty. I remember seeing a video of a Hugo player doing parrying the first few kicks then he does his own super. that vid has absolutely NO popularity. the excitement from Daigo vs Wong comes from Daigo digging himself out of the grave to come back for a win.
take this for example:
nothing difficult about jumping over someone and doing hurricane kick. Daigo crossed him up well and Afro just took too many hits. yet they screamed just as hard for this match as they did the other
omfg whats your thoughts on tennis. figured i should ask
When people say that 3S is easier execution-wise, they’re not talking about things like Tachi Gigas or parrying supers. They’re talking about how 3S isn’t link-dependent unlike SFIV. In 3S, most of your damage is going to either come from hit-confirm into super or parry into a non-link dependent combo. In SFIV, most of your damage is going to come off of link-dependent combos. 3S’s lack of link dependency therefore makes it much easier for beginners to start pulling off the combos the pros use than in SFIV. They see execution as ease of comboing; not high-level techniques.
Urien and Yun are the exception to this, of course.
Post videos then…or admit that you are making things up because you want to come across as a good player when you really aren’t.
Surely you can do a kara 720 with T.Hawk in ST? You never fail a reversal ever in any SFII game right? You can do Keeper Jin? Jiro Demon? Parry Chun’s SAII whenever you want?
Oh please great Street Fighter scientist. Show us your amazing execution skills.
This is now beyond pathetic. Lying about your SF execution and pretending to brag about your nonexistent accomplishments on an internet forum? You must be the coolest kid at your middle school.
It’s the Street Fighter equivalent of the ‘internet tough guy’.
most people i know cant play street fighter or capcom fighting games, since you cant mash buttons to win, you have to know how to do complex move-sets. Which turns many of these casual players away, who much rather play some stupid DBZ or Soul Cal 4 shit.
Other thing to is people are all idiots and buy anything that looks good, not even caring if the gameplay sucks they still will buy it.
speaking of how it handles competition, best sport in the fucking universe. tennis completely goes out of its way to make sure the best player wins absolutely. leaves nothing to chance, gives both players a chance to have the same advantages, makes them change courts, hell even makes it best 2 of 3 at least. both can’t even have the same number of points, if you both get 40 it’s deuce. from that point on you score twice, if you score and then they score afterwards it goes back to deuce. anyone who wins a tennis match fully deserved it
he’s right, you’re an idiot. I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt by treating you like a person, but you’re pretty childish. one childish thing I really hate people doing is misunderstanding me because of their biased views of me. to show how you did just that, you said I was lying about my execution. I said not one word about my execution…
good day
why cant capcom just make a real good game that looks real good. then despite it being a good game, slack jawed retard idiots who are bad at everything in life will buy it in droves. hire me capcom
what if one person has less execution but more mind games and cant win because their execution (single player skills) arent up to par? dont you think the person whos better at the ‘real game’ should win?
wtf does that even mean
i think who wins should be the one who wins
why dont you think that about fighting games then
when did I say otherwise
well i mean you’re not the biggest fan of superhard execution
Throws suck, ultras are dumb, reversal window+safe get off me move that could link into high dmg is hella dumb.
The game would definitely benefit characters were allowed to be more offensive on their opponents wakeup with less risk.
Since SF4 was supposed to resemble SF2 in someways it would be a million times better if it adopted SF2s unforgiving wakeup situations.
** YO YO, what’s your life like? Mines real hard!**
