I remember this. Funniest shit ever with that alarm.
Cali weed all day FRAAyyy. But Oregon>>>>> all. Whats this rap battle I’ve been hearing about? Who want it
Didn’t realize how sick I was until I downed some perrier today and didn’t feel it going down. I don’t know if any of you drink that stuff, but its like wet fire going down, so sexy.
My throat is gross.
Man BIG UPS AGAIN to the fresh faces/rookies, you guys are blowing me away with these posts man, learning from your mistakes. It seems like you guys really absorbed a lot from this EVO. Just remember what you took notes on and implement this into your game. Not only will you be helping yourself, you’ll be helping others in our scene get stronger too. We have some catching up to do but not a lot, but just remember that other regions are going to be practicing just as hard if not harder so we cannot get falter behind.
With that said, I’ll be heading to GW’s tonight to get some DANK VIPER practice in.
The biggest thing I learned was that I was doing some very stupid moves.
I’ve played the two matches I played in my head numerous times
Across both matches (Fuerte and Ryu) I realized I didn’t throw one low short in all my matches and thats kinda a thing with Sagat. C.S, C.S. M.F into TS/TU/TK or C.S. to Super.
The Ryu match up I know to well and for some reason I was throwing roundhouse knees and fierce uppercuts all of which pretty much get punished.
The Fuerte match up was new to me and I couldn’t zone with TS because of the wall jump fuerte has. And Fuerte was a lot quicker than sagat so when I threw the TS, it was wall jump then punished. So throughout the match was just trying to throw random things in hopes of hitting. When I think back about it now, I realize that I should have timed my uppercuts better when Fuerte was splashing on me.
Although I did learn quite a few things from this.
-Double tapping for roundhouse working on the fake kick deal.
-Double Tapping for my combos.
-studied all the videos that I taped during EVO to pick up matchups and what not.
so you play viper now?!
I play Viper now too, fuck a Dictator.
I see Justin Wong’s head…
Now if I go to 3:30 I see a breakdancing cole. I also see it around the 5 minute mark
No. Bison’s judging the tryouts as we speak. Viper’s just the first of 3 to get on this squad.
I just would like a character where I can actually combo into my ultra instead of getting a guaranteed ultra oh, 3 times out of 38 games.
Plus Chris really inspired me to start using her.
What, no Akuma?!
Im going to replace Balrog with either Sagat, Akuma, or Ryu. High tier? Yes. Why? Because I like them as characters, and they help counter my bad matchups, LOL
edit: thats a tight picture frank…Im near the bottom corner with the NW CREW. Cept its only about 2/3rds of my head. Chillin next to that duggish ruggish
Man Trace, to think that you went from this:

to just beast in the tournament.
ionno guys i think you should experiment with all the characters and play who you like or play who you can win with if thats what youre playing for but i dont think you should just drop a character youve invested hella time into. i tried seth tonight at home and thinking i would hate him but turns out hes kinda fun. i kinda like akuma too. id like to be able to play every character in the game equally well but thats just me…but thats only until mutha fuckin deejay is in this game then FUCK the rest of the cast ahahahaha
I love how the second time it shows Cole up there it cuts to a completely bored-looking audience lol
I’m not there. I must’ve went out for a smoke or something. I can however, find the JDR crew behind us starting with the guy that me and Mickey D were talking about in the yellow ref shirt.
Try Abel.
Forward Forward Kick, forward dash, EX Change in Direction, FADC, CR Fierce (both hits) ultra
