I think it’s kinda cool to try and make a story out of the Street Fighter history. I know that it causes alot arguments, debates, and of course flames. But it still worth while. I used to post and read the original fan fiction thread ALL the time before it got deleted. i learned alot of interesting information from it. Like what’s the Killing Intent and things like that. I remember Clay replying to a comment I made about Sagat’s strength level. Anyway back to the topic anytime you have chracters that people like you wanna know more about them. That’s why all comics and most movies eventually do origin stories. Street fighters has soo may cool chracters it can be expected that fans want to know more. And of course evryone has a little bias towards there favorite. I mean that’s why alot of us use them. I know alot of players use chracters because of game mechaniscs especially at high play level. Now I got some game but I know that the first time I played SF I chose Chun Li because she looked cool and could kick really, really, fast,…and she looked hot! So i think we should keep this up and just give educated guesses. As long as people remember that it’s ONLY A GAME. It can be a fun experience for all. Well that’s all for now Holla!!!

Manwhas are Hong Kong Comic Books, like the upcoming SVC Comic coming to the US.
And no, the KOF Manwhas are not official, unless you think the Emperor of Japan is a selectable character and his son is the main character of Tekken but was also involved in KOF 1996.
I’m starting to feel like a broken record here, but Capcom has announced the outcome of Ryu and Ken’s fights twice. In SFZ2, Ken beat RYu and gave him the Red headband. (Beat the game with Ken) And they also announced that Ryu beat Ken during SF3 Third Strike. The only game they didn’t announce who won between the two or anything about it is SF2, if they even fought at all. So the argument that Capcom does not want to announce who wins between the two is beyond null and void.
God of Death - Well, I’m trying to have fun here and take educated guesses, but people keep Posting here saying to stop and it’s a bad idea to do so and it’s really sucking all the fun out of it. Blarg.
I read on some American promotional poster that SF2 takes place during the tournament’s final round. I guess that would explain why there’s such a small amount of competitors…for a tournament, that is.
Perhaps that white guy and the black guy that appeared in SF2’s Original intro were actual combants that got taken out early. They did manage to make that SF Arcade Flyer Picnic picture that had almost everybody from the SF Games. Course, that picture also had a Moniter Cyborg from the SF2 Animated Movie Game so…
There are 3 Sagats. SF1 Sagat is behind Belger, SF2 Sagat is lounging on the grass, and SFA Sagat is throwing/pushing Dan into the water. Yeah, I’ve seen that picture before. I love how it includes every version of each character (i.e. Sagat). SF2 Ryu is fishing w/ Gouken, Goutetsu, and E. Honda. SF3 Ryu is holding his duffel bag and being followed by Sakura, and SFA Ryu is adjusting his gloves nearby. I don’t see SF1 Ryu, unless he’s the shirtless guy kneeling in front of those tiles. SFA Adon is standing over SF2 Sagat and SFA Adon is next to him, lying up against a tree. FF1 Guy is standing near a barrel w/ SF2 Dhalsim and Datta, while SFA Guy is fishing w/ Zeku. SF1 Ken has his arms crossed, SF2 Ken is arguing w/ Eliza who’s being held back by SFA Ken. SF3 Ken is in a boat w/ Mel and Eliza. SFA Dhalsim is grabbing onto Poison’s leg. SF2 Akuma has one foot on SF2 M. Bison’s back and SFA Akuma is teleporting towards SFA M. Bison. SFA Gen is standing on one leg and SF1 Gen is in some weird Conga line w/ Lee, SFA Chun-Li, Fei Long, and Yang. LOL, Bred’s from FF1 is in the background! I never noticed that.
Don’t mind me, just one of the “few” people who actually remember playing Street Fighter in the arcades on holiday, though unfortatnly I never got a go on the one with the touch sensitive buttons and had the 6 set up buttons instead. I remember the first time I was announced “King of the Hill” sniffs Good times. Good times. Well, actually, frustrating hair pulling hitting the arcade unit times, but still all good fun.
I don’t mind saying pulling off a fireball in that game is a little hit and miss and I’m still not 100% sure exactly how to do it. And I have never seen a Dragon Punch actually pulled off, though I have seen an animation. The hurrican kick is also supposed to be in the game but I haven’t seen hide nor hair of it.
It was always more fun to get it so he wouldn’t break a single block. The audience got this look on their faces like GRRRRRR and Ryu’s all Mark Hamill OW MY HAND
