Rival Schools, especially Project Justice, was amazing to me… the character design, artwork, music, etc. I simply don’t see this level of effort anymore from Capcom.
And new Killer Instinct is made for the Xbone by Double Helix, a company with a shit track record and zero fighting game experience.
Stupid BS series should remain dead. KI 2 and Gold was at best Awful, Ki 1 should be played as a curiosity/for collectors.
Congrats a mediocre game recommended by this thread got a remake.
I would love to see a new Bushido Blade but all Squeenix care for is trolling Final Fantasy fans, holding FF VII hostage by making people get the FF X HD Remix and pushing the awful FF XIII saga.
It also means we not get another Ehrgeiz. If they Do another Enrgeiz leave out most of the Final Fantasy Roster. The Cameo appearances overshadowed the rest of the game.
I agree Power Stones, Fighting Viper and Tobal needs to return. Destrega with the right team might be worth it.
Just as a lark I say DreamMix TV World Fighters which is a Smash bros style game by Konami, Takara and Hudson characters include Optimus Prime, Simon Belmont, Solid Snake, Bomberman and a TwinBee. Because come on if a series like Killer Instinct got reborn with the *undeserved *hype it did why not DreamMix TV World Fighters.
I Do agree with you, Sega made some lack luster titles in the past they are slipping.
If you bring back Fighting Vipers, I purposely give it that 80s action movie feel.
Maybe a Capcom vs SNK 3.
Grooves could be:
GROOVE 1. Street Fighter III.
GROOVE 2. Street Fighter IV.
GROOVE 3. King of Fighters '94.
GROOVE 4. King of Fighters XIII.
But if Capcom does it, I can’t imagine how many characters will be DLC (probably 32 characters for default + 14 extra characters locked in disc, LOL).
We definitely need a CvS3, though admittedly with how shitty new series entrants of thought dead series have been with that god-awful KI3, and how SFxT wound up being received, I’d honestly be 10x more excited for it if SNK did it and it was done kind of like KOFXIII style.
The only thing that should come back from SVC Chaos is Violent Ken.
Looking through the Super IV artbook it seemed like Violent Ken might have been an alt character or costume idea.
Uhhh… every game I could want a remake and or sequel to has been mentioned. So I will just something random, Fighting Layer. Honestly it would be Bloody Roar.
