Actually I change my mind about what I put up there. You gotta have Ryu, Ken and Chun-Li in the game because Ruy is the Street Fighter. Street Fighter is about him. Another thing is that the Street Fighters are like superheroes. They stay the same over the years. Like Superman. He’s been around for over 50 years but in the comics he’s still in his 30’s. So Ryu is always the same. It would be cool to introduce his kid, but that would mean that he dies off and you cannot have Street Fighter without Ryu so how about just give us Street Fighter 4 with Ryu, Ken and Chun-Li as they are but with some new stuff and hopefully 3d.
New characters, completely new fighting engine, new moves, new motions, complete balance. If you’re going to go 3d, at least make it so us 2d peeps can play too. Don’t make it revolve around the “cheap shit” but around precise play/zoning instead, like about positioning with projectiles and stuff.
Don’t alienate the casual gamer by making the motions crazy difficult, but keep the super advanced carzy dificult techniques in there.
While some characters may suck, at least give them options so they can kick ass if they guess more than twice, and have semi-decent normals.

When I said skinny I meant as in the same size as he used to be(SF2/CvS2). Well I envisioned Bison would have had some change in style. No-longer sporting the dictator outfit but it would be somewhat reminescent of it. I want him to look like he was in hell for a few years(and rightfully so). You don’t escape the pits of hell and wear a cap and cape. He should be alittle more “off”, touched by hellfire. I always pictured Bison with his hair reaching almost to his waist.
In my story, Illuminati’s top alchemist(the traitor that was prophesized to kill Gill) made a deal with Bison in which Bison would be ressurrected to exact revenge on those that brought him down. The alchemist would recieve Rose’s psycho power as it is Bison’s refuse. Bison set off to kill Guile, Cammy, etc. and rebuild his organization. The alchemist was being spied on by one of Gill’s agents. The alchemist(who i’ll name Korus) became aware of the agent(i’ll call Taroi) with his new power. Taroi warped away to report to Gill. With the Illuminati now aware of his treason, Korus decided to escape and follow Bison’s wake. Bison accepted Korus into his newly reborn Shadow Law. Knowing Bison would see him as a threat if he knew how strong he really was, Korus kept to himself and played along. Bison was now fool, he knew Korus was running from someone and that he needed to lie low. To lure out his prey Bison announced the World Warriors Tournament 4. Bison has gotten much stronger and due to being touched by hell his aura/soul has altered. Bison announcing the World Warriors tournament caught the attention of the Illuminati Korus was sure of it.(cont.)

Gill began to see Shadow Law as the prophesized “new evil” and saught to quell it, even though he failed to prepare the world for it. Gill urged Alex to enter WW4, Alex agreed just because he wanted to fight Ryu again. Gill also rallies various fighters within the Illuminati(Urien, Urien’s android, Necro, Taroi). Bison has Balrog broken out of prison. Vega escapes of his own accord(someone developed the idea of Vega using the Psycho Drive to become more beautiful but instead coming out looking like Marylin(sp?) Manson and I want to run with that). Cammy enters to recapture Vega. Guile has retired from the Air Force but has mastered the arts taught by Charlie, he enters the tournament to see that Bison is sent back to hell. Balrog challenges Dudley to a street fight in which Dudley would renounce his title if Balrog wins, Dudley accepts. Dee Jay enters to get back in the limelight, getting rid of his “one hit wonder” status(I want to see him done right). Mel and Batsu enter that tournament and Ken enters to kick Mel’s ass. The strong punk rock girl enters because she wants some money.

WTF? Since when has Ryu been tapping that ass? Im not a big cannon follower but based on all the character endings I never got that impression. Besides, Ryu is gay…he hasnt proven to me yet that he even has a remote interest in women, which is why Ken is always so much more popular then Ryu. Ken has a story, he has a family, and he fights with attittude. Ryu is just a boring guy in a generic white karate uniform. If Ryu’s in the next one, I really think they should at least try to make him multi dimensional by letting him fight with something other then that dirty and boring karate suit. I wouldn’t mind seeing Ryu with some jeans (you gotta keep that badass bandanna though)&just being casual, hes just to generic and simple to me.
I like the Ideas of having Mel in the game. And a a lot of the other stuff you guys have come up with sounds really good.

I think a ‘destructible’ corners feature should be enabled. Basically this would mean that backgrounds are 3 times as big, however they are divided into 3 or more ‘arenas’. You can break through some obstacle which acts as a destructible corner, to move into the other part of the background. You can also get back to the old part of the background but this time there won’t be the destructible corner. So if you break all destructible corners, you’d have one big ass stage.
You could also have destructible floors and ceilings.
Maybe even, objects which you can grab and throw?
- New characters (new heroes, new bosses, etc.)
- Some kind of 1-player story mode (lots of replay value)
- Classic characters looking aged (Ryu can’t look 30-something anymore)
- Akuma as a kind of final boss.
- Lots of unlockables (new costumes, modes, characters, etc.)
- A gameplay system similar to, but not an exact copy of, SF3:TS
- New sprites and animations for every character (it helps)
- Tag mode, dramatic battle, single battle, and maybe even free-for all modes of fighting.
- Anime-ish endings (they have to be good)
- VF-style card-thingie system (good for arcade battles)
My story:
It has been a long time (I’m not sure yet)since the SF3 tournament broke out. Gill went to hell (Where the devil gave him some real clothes), and Ryu won the tournament. Ryu got sick of the aimless wandering, so he made a small dojo in a Japanese forest so he can train himself and anyone else who went there. One day, a man named Kyu (my carefully planned new hero), went into the dojo. He challenged Ryu, and Ryu accepted. Kyu kicked the crap out of Ryu, so Ryu rewarded him with his white Alpha headband. Kyu put it on, and he left. During that night, Akuma was wandering around the forest. He found Kyu, and he challenged him. Kyu kicked the crap out of Akuma, but he left before he could kill him. Akuma got pissed because someone that is unknown to this world kicked his ass. He went to the shrine of Son (one of my made-up bosses) and he nearly killed him after a long battle (for no reason). When Son was about to die, he made a pact with Akuma. Host a new Street Fighter tournament, find Kyu, and kill him. Akuma accepted. He had to abandon his old ways to defeat this new foe, and Akuma was ready. His Japanese symbol showed all over the world. The tournament was ready. Everyone was prepared. The Street Fighter 4 tournament has begun!
This could all be shown via an anime-style opening movie.
Everyone’s too used to Akuma and even Shin Akuma for him to be worth being a final boss. They need some new guy. Some kind of kick butt demon guy.
As I posted before I would like this game in either 2d or 3d but would be cool to just once see Alex and Elena rendered in 3d.
Drop Remy, Hugo, Gill, Urien, Necro, Q, Twelve, Besides that, keep the SF3 roster, but add:
Sakura. This could be a potentially huge thing. She was only like 16 in the Alpha Series, right? She’d be about 26 here. Let’s see if she’s developed as a fighter and gotten a more signature style than she already has.
Guile: Remy was move for move Guile. HE EVEN HAD THE DOUBLE SWEEP. Bring him back, nobody’s going to whine.
Sagat: Just to fucking settle the Ryu/Sagat thing ONCE and for all. Screw the Bogarding, let’s go!

Basically, what they need to do is FINALLY end all of the storylines that were out in SF2. Where’s Cammy? Did Bison REALLY get killed by Akuma? Did Sagat fight Ryu? Lots of things could be solved by a simple cameo cutscene.
Basically they could EASILY add all the characters from SF2, add some key ones in SF3, and maybe a couple new ones (Mel comes to mind immediately), and have a ridiculously high roster of characters (Like 30-40).
For the end boss?
Due to the working relationship with SNK…Could they not add an SNK character as a special boss? Terry Bogard perhaps? Rock Howard? Kim Kaphwan?

Gill was lame, stick with something established. You don’t have to pull a Tekken 3 and take a 17 year break off the last Tekken 2 tournament.
Hell, bring back Bison to add to Rugal and Geese, and you’ve got the trifecta of the biggest fighting game bosses pretty much, ever.
I know it’ll never happen, and they’ll probably screw it up, but why not.

#1 sakura-actually decided to train under dan for a few years and is he passes down title to her. well she than goes to college and after that becomes a secretary at some company. well sitting around for to long can become boring as hell fast than out of the blue WW4. retrains for tourny and enter.
stuff that is out; flower kick, hadoken, shoto style spinning kick,that samn move where she jumps at opponent and then tries to hit them in the head, schoolgirl outfit.
stuff added; dan style qcb kicks that can chain after first input. you can add additional inputs for different finishers(ala. kyo, karin)
seeing as though that alone could make her broken give her a shitty move that has close to the same motion like hcb+k so scrubs have to learn to motion correctly make the motion equal command throw that if whiffed she falls all the way out giving your opponent time to bust off in her face and super her…hehehehehe bust off.
she know has an entirely vertical shoryuken that hit only once but damage is different depending on input.
PPP equal a cartwheel evades like blanka.
SA1-a seiries of blows that end with shoryuken(like dans lvl three) does ok dmg. 2 bars. (note: it should suck characters in. also she does a dan like taunt at end.)
SA2- a three hit combo that ends with hadoken( after super she looks at hands in amazement after doing move) 1 bar.(note: if first hit misses or is blocked the rest of combo is cancelled)
SA3-i kinda ran out so i dunno. super taunt?
