Yes, but the only footage I can find of him playing wolverine are in vanilla and at winter brawl 6. Plus he’s been using his felicia team for a while now.

Does anyone have advice on how to finish mission 10? I’ve looked at other posts about it, and I’ve tried to time the 3rd jump later, but I still can’t for the life of me complete it. Either I miss the air S entirely and continue the combo otherwise or I just whiff the S and drop. I’ve tried to let chris fall a bit at the end of each loop but still no luck. Does anyone else have any advice? I’ve looked at the VesperArcade video too and can’t really see what he’s doing different. Would using the thor assist at the start make it easier somehow?
What is everyone using for happy birthday conversions? I always seem to drop a character during the drill claw I believe. Thanks!

What team are you playing, it’s likely you can use an assist to capitalise on the bday properly. If your assists wont help for whatever reason, just do:
st.L, st.M, st.h, st.S > SJ > j.M, j.M, j.L, j.H xx Fatal Claw xx XF > Fatal Claw.
I don’t normally use that myself, but it’s the simple bday conversion you often see, but if you have any sort of extension assist you can do:
st.L, st.M, st.h, st.S > SJ > j.M, j.M, j.L, j.H, j.S > Land > Call assist + :df:+M > Assist hits > Beserker Barrage H (Mashed fully) xx Fatal Claw
If you do that, then even if the happy birthday was immediately at the start of the round, you will have built an additional 2 meters and you can spend 3 bars killing the 2 characters you’ve picked up.

I don’t think Gunshot does, but :df:+M slide picks up both of them. What’s your other assist?
Spencer slant grapple assist is my other assist. I’m probably better off using your basic wolvie happy bday combo with no assists.
My second team is wolvie/sent/phoenix. I wonder if phoenix psycho crusher assist would carry both characters after a wolvie slide.

Yeah it won’t work with Spencer’s Slant Shot.
It does however work with Phoenix, and if you relaunch after she’s hit, because you’re comboing both characters you build just over 3 meters in the whole combo and end up with 4 and a bit by the end of it.
With the right assist, I use Deadpool’s Quick Work, you can get into the fatal claw loop on a happy birthday.

Is wolv/dante(jam)/akuma(tatsu) still a good team? I’ve been maining wolverine lately and playing with a mix of wesker, sent, akuma, doom. But I’ve yet to play Dante and wanna try him out.
What’s the beserker charge combo I’ve seen justin and pr rog doing and when do I need to use it? It looks like a few hits into beserker slash and then repeat.
lately justin wong has been doing: slash xx charge, [dash st.MLH xx L slash] x3 into whatever. i don’t know why he does that though.
my berserker charge bnb starter does more damage and builds less meter for the opponent: slash xx charge, dash cr.M, st.H xx L slash, dash cr.M, st.H xx M slash, dash cr.M st.H S…
has anyone else noticed justin wong’s wolvie relaunching an opponent from a ground bounce with st.S instead of st.HS? i’ve only see him do it in the corner, but he’s been doing often lately. in the corner, after dive kick, he’ll dash first then go straight into S, followed by neutral sj.
anybody have any idea why he does that? maybe he’s worried he’ll send them too high and whiff on the smaller characters? i dunno. also, does anybody know why, in is berserker charge/slash combo, he loops st.MLH xx slash instead of cr.M, st.H xx slash?
anytime you’re doing ML it’s because it pulls them in closer so you’re sure none of your attacks will whiff also he’s in speed up mode when he does it so you’re not building meter and you’re way faster thus it probably kills the speed up time before the launch so you can build meter once you’re in the air and it keeps them close so your speed up doesnt make the combo drop
i still don’t see the point. the standard berserker slash loop bnb does more damage and builds less meter for the opponent.
Hey all, I’ve been having troubles getting consistant with my BnB. I run Wolverine/Doom-beam/Ammy-cold star and my combo is L, M, L, H, S, j.M, j.M, j.L, j.H, Drill claw, dive kick, j.M, j.M, j.H, j.S, Assist 2, otg slide, [tornado claw, fatal claw] x2
Now my problem is I seem to cross myself up after the dive kick about 50% of the time, leading me to jump in the wrong direction for my 2nd MMHS. Never was a problem before when my combo was H, S after dive kick, since positioning didn’t really matter for wolverine’s standard BnB. Is there anyway I can guarantee that I won’t cross up for my 2nd jump? Or should I switch back to the standard combo with doom-rocks as my assist > otg and use ammy as my opener?
