What do you think of my team

if u r gonna use vice competitively u better know how to RC or zone really well. And yama is good character to learn. easy combos, good zoning, decent guard damage

Yeah, Yama can have some mad ass Gaurd Crash Strings

Maki is kind of hard because you have to be confident in your execution and spacing if you want to do the run forward, run away. Maki is a really good battery too, chunli ,sakura, morrigan are suggested to be next in the lineup, and i’m forgetting some characcters so there is more characters u can choose.

InVeRs3: I like the fact that Mai is in your A-Groove team, you don’t see to much of Mai but I can see way you use her (let alone in A-Groove)

I use A Mai too, if I’m tired of beasting with A Sak.

i haven’t used A-Mai in… hmmmmmmmmmm…uh…3-4 months? i haven’t used A groove in 2 months because my p360 broke 2months ago.

stupid

ok, heres the thing, all this crap abou characters that are cheap, its just bull shit… really, top tier or not, hoo is your character? [blah blah] are you having trouble defeating “top tier characters” [blah yes blah] THEN LIVE WITH IT, practice aginst sagat cuz your gonna meet a guy that plays him, i garanty it!
practice against blanks, cuz you dont know what to do after a blanka ball.
if you think some charaters are cheap, maybe its cuz you cant handle your groove or you r characters, either way, stop being a scrub and grow up, its not about how cheap is the other guy!!!
i mean, what is cheap??? what he killed you 4 times in a row so hes cheap???

FUCK YOU!! grow up!!! get better, you have a choice here!!

you guys have no idea how bad my ryo was when i started, so i threw him away, but then i learned that being top tier or not, doesnt matter, you have to choose a character that you like, that your comfortable with and then learn him by heart.

when faced with sagat, you shoudnt go: oh shit im gonna loose

you should be saying: i know this character and i know wht to do against him!!!

fucking :lame: noobs :bluu:

lets see a good character for u should be sakura bison and if ur not a scrub use akuma dont listen to all these fags that say akuma sucks because he is real fast and has great juggling skils the only reason they call sagat and all them top tier because thyre really easy to use

Actually, Sagat isn’t easy to use on a high level… Another thing, C Guile is hard to use well, but he’s still top tier. Tiers are based on ability to win, not the difficulty of use.

true that epsilon, guile is a solid character, and altough sagat is top tier, to be played on a high level, you have to be better than a scrub.

scrubs take sagat cuz he is “easy to win” on a scrub level.

but say a scrub’s sagat vs epsilon’s sagat
epsilon wins im sure.
cuz the scrub doesnt know how sagat’s attacks react on diffrent characters.
scrubs dont understand every attack of the characters they use. all they know is that they do lots a damaga and are fast or blah blah blah ; to sum, they are efficient, but not efficiently used!

ive beaten sagats cuz there was a scrub holding that stick. but i got mauled by others cuz the guy holding that stick and pushing those buttons wasnt only pushing fierce and round house, he knew what to do.

he didnt tiger strike when i was jumping!!

so once again, top tier or not, its the guy pushing the buttons that counts.

PS.: is A akuma any good??

Yeah A Akuma is good, good customs, and plenty of setups. Mainly the thing that keeps him from being REALLY good is a lack of life.

A akuma is really good, though i perfer N akuma.

N akuma tip:do c.lk, lk Hurricane, lk Hurricane, now small jump, it’s really hard to figure out where you’ll land, but you can step back/forward a bit to land behind/infront.

A-Akuma is really good, i’d place him first with your strongest A-groove CC character 2nd.

ya im gonna put a A-akuma in my team instead of ryo.
i think it will be good to finaly have a char. that is powerful and that im confortable with :stuck_out_tongue:

ya ive noticed that in stats: akuma is one of the characters that has the lowest amout of life. but he makes up for it with his strong attacks and huge amout of jugle capabilitys.

i just have to make sure i “master” him in a groove

thx for the advice guys:D

Yeah, I use Gouki-N better to.

I actually prefer K-Akuma. Good rushdown, small jumps, and JD keeps you pretty safe (although not as safe as RC, so I can see why C/A/N is better. Also command roll is useful for taking off some guard meter when raged, assuming you don’t whore it and get punished.

Ryo isn’t THAT bad. His DP isn’t bad at all. I use his Super fireball as antiair. I only use his charge kick to get over ground projectiles. For me, He is fun to play.

Beni on Agroove ain’t bad, either. Do the spinny thing with A groove on really takes alot of cheese damage. Just make sure they are blocking it.

My main advice: Pick whoever the hell you want, plain and simple.

What move are you refering to? Her air grab (FB+p) is unblockable, as is her 360 super. Are you talking about the off the wall variations? I love Maki. She is very versatile. He standing forward is used and abused religiosly. Its not Rose crouching strong, but its good.

S-Groove Haohmaru, Nakoruru, Ryu-2

what do the ppl think?

I’m not a cvs2 haohmaru fan but he’s fun in samurai shodown. other than that, I like your team.

First up Cheap=Word of the Noob. Never use this word or you are simply exclaiming your own inexperience at this game. It was said that Ryu, Ken and Akuma were ‘cheap’ characters. HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA - rofl. They are 2nd tier at BEST, sometimes 3. Then they go on to condider using Chun-Li as the alternative to not using over-used top-tier players… HA! Sagats crouching Fierce is not ‘cheap’, it is a high-priority poke that has good range, bufferability and damage, which makes it a good poke. It is not ‘cheap’, just hard to defend against if you don’t know how. No single Top-Tier player uses the word ‘cheap’. They blame themeselves for their mistakes and commend their opponent on their fight.

This is akin to ‘isn’t it meant to just be fun anyway’ esque remarks. Another cry of the scrub who has lost an argumentn and is eager to defen himself. It is fun to lose in a spectacular match after a great fight. It is fun to win the match. It is REALLY FUN to combo into super during a hole in your opponent guard crush string. Scrubs have not had this pleasure and hence say stuff like ‘it’s only a game’ which is blatant stupidity, arrogance, and stubborness. Again this just displays inexperience.

Most importantly it is not a bad thing to be a scrub. As much as it is thrown around as a payout, it is not a bad thing, we were all one once. It is TERRIBLE however, to be a scrub in denial. You will never learn and get better, which is what we are all here for. To get better so we can have MORE FUN and compete at higher levels.

Lastly choose the characters whom you wish to learn how to use because you think you willl enjoy playing with them the most. People will give advice for the best characters for your groove on how to win, if you prefer someone who is sub-standard in the groove, then just say as I do ‘I have used Ryu since 1991 so I use C-Ryu over Sagat.’ People understand that you may have a tie to a certain character(s) and will not bother you after that, they are only trying to help you get the most competitive team. With that my advice is use A - Akuma, Sakura, Bison (R2). Any of them you don’t like replace with someone you do and practice.

These are not my opinions, tehy are facts revealed through years of ST. If you’re a scrub deal with it. Take advice, USE IT, get better, then beat the people who told you to use Sagat with Ryu. I did.
