Lol, that kid is on my friend’s list yet he plays like such a scrub. I haven’t played him in marvel but I don’t understand how he’s apparently one of the top players. Also from being in parties with that kid I am continuously amazed at how one can rage so badly at a video game.

I just wrecked an almost 4000bp Hugo/Kazuya player with my Gief/Hugo team. In the first round he wasn’t even able to tag Kazuya in. Don’t ask me why he’s using Hugo on point.
After I beat him he sent me “why do 90% of german players have to be as bad as you”. I replied with “hahaha and you lose anyway. loser”. Then I blocked him. I hope he spent a lot of time crafting a perfect answer only to notice that he can’t even reply.

Is receiving rediculous hatemail like a rite of passage for being classed as a good player? because it seems so, I don’t understand why people do it. I rage to myself (notably when i keep missing the grab breaks, all of my sad) but not to other people.
That said, I’ve received boatloads since i started running sagat/steve. most notably:

On a serious note - The only person the player can really blame for losing a match is themselves. There are no “cheap” strategies when it comes to fighting games. All you can do is get better and stronger.
If it was in an endless lobby you should’ve played him again using the random character select. Normally beating them that way is an instant “You now have the right to shut the fuck up” tool. It’s worked countless times for me
It was ranked. It was the first time i went into ranked and it will probably remain one of the few times i do so. So unfriendly
Also he claimed i was a hacker for charging a tiger knee for EX version. which he was then unable to SRK punish it and it led to a rather large combo
I’m…very surprised I haven’t been getting hatemail with my Julia. I spam meterless combos into tiger strike almost instinctively once I have someone in a corner… I completely perfected this Kazuya/Akuma player with it. and just got “GG”. Though I’m far from great with Julia. I still don’t even know who I want as her partner (Tried Ogre/Ryu/Rufus/Juri) @_@

Julia… She also piques my interest as a character. I guess you should try someone like Cammy for some high functional aggressive play. Maybe Asuka if you wish to establish the “Geese Howard” effect (my term for counteracting the characters movements - Strangely, their fighting styles are eerily similar). Any projectiles characters you have in mind? Julia might be able to play with a partner with a projectile (someone like Sagat, Raven, or Chun Li)
