haha I don’t know. his play seemed solid (granted its been about a week) and I would’ve expected some since I kept on down blocking.
I used to whine about the way people played and the characters and, amazingly, it didn’t help me get better. Truth is: If you lose to “spam” and “cheapness” you’re not good enough. There are bad match ups but even pros deal with it. Did anyone imagine Daigo would get schooled by a Viper player? Take the loss, try to learn, and move on. Good players dont sleep on pillows of unicorn fur. They work hard.

Shame I got that message because I just started back playing this today, haven’t played it since the week of release. I went on a win streak with Nina/Raven in ranked then went to endless and cleared the whole lobby out and I guess he got mad because I left because I was tired of beating them.

I also got a couple of general complaints about Bison, how he’s obviously top tier, ridiculously OP, etc. Apparently Kuma is “super cheap” too. On the other hand, I did get a “nice kuma :)” the other day which was pretty sweet.
I also got a random “shit” from someone I’ve never played… Guess he was just being friendly I dunno.

well its helping me get better cause now i can not only defend it i can completely avoid the “cross ups” and now i just mist step right by all the projectiles i beat a B rank just a few minutes ago he was a projectile spammer but i got past it so thanks guys for talking shit to me it inspired me to do better
never said it did but its a hell of a lot better than spamming i only learned basic continuations of combos still training to get to the big combos

yes ive had messages in other games too, stuff like “sad no life i bet you use an arcade stick too”, now and again i get messages expressing vehemence and anger over the fact that i may or may not being using stick (i do). i dont quite understand it. for example ive never played a racing game and have people send ragemail accusing me of using an arcade steering wheel
I played this guy recently named Frostbite and then some numbers or somethin but anyway it went like this:
Me and my partner join an endless lobby.
We start to fight with frostbite. My partner wrecks him with akuma into a misogi setup and mid animation first round without me even getting to play frostbite dashboards it out. So i send him a message regarding the ragequit.
Me: Really?
Frostbite: I dont play cheaters
Me: You can’t really even cheat in street fighter numbnuts. If you really think thats how this game works you should just go sell it right now. It’s called blocking try it sometime
