What are the exact inputs for Chun's Lightning Legs Loop? and O/S Thread

The worst part is that the visual cue changes depending on how many legs even connect to begin with.

it’s just too much hipster tech for me

Being able to do c.hp x legs, c.hp x legs, c.hk with high consistency is most definitely doable, though.
I like having it in my arsenal since it opens up a strong stun-game (also helps her overall low damage).

I wish I had fast enough hands to use cl.mp (1hit) x legs, right now I get it 1/4 attempts.

im not saying is useless

im saying i cant do it lol

Bloody hell…I never knew piano commands were so hard
pretty much plinking 6 buttons at double tap timing…my fingers were dead tired after 15 minutes of training…how do you people play chun its got to be unhealthy…
did get the LL LL c.hk combo once though.
I offered an imaginary burnt offering to the God of Video Games after that.

You work up the stamina for it with practice, but for a while you’re going to have trouble practicing it for lenghty periods of time because your fingers will start to cramp up from not being used to that kind of motion.

I used to be a piano player and later on, a trumpet player (which, conveniently, involves the three fingers on my right hand I use to press buttons with). I think that has helped my stamina on it at least.

Not that it helps much because my execution of it is still shit lol

If you’re using piano and getting ex at the end, you will need a re-program that muscle memory. Tell that last finger to not land yet while the other one is still on the button. I.e. you should brain macro and emphasize on the release then press. (I am the last finger, no other finger shall touch thee!)… LoL sometimes you gotta talk / personify fingers that seem to have a mind of their own =_=;

as far as visual queue is concerned, if you look at the last hit of the LL, there is only one that lets you connect, its the one that looks exactly like a f+mk, when i found that, i got more consistent. Hope this helps. (it almost became as easy as plinking any other 1frame link)

The way I piano it:
c.hp~mk, hk-mk-lk, hk

There’s no way to get two kicks input at once.
Now that I think about I should change the last input to hk~mp to get an extra hk in there just in case I piano hk-mk-lk the wrong way, getting 6 separate inputs in the same amount of time.

I dunno if this makes sense to anyone not used to working with a metronome, but it’s pretty effective way to methodically build up speed. Just practice it as slowly as you can do it perfectly and comfortably. The more comfortable you are when you practice slow, the more comfortable when you execute fast. Check that your inputs are correct on the input screen. Repeat it at a slow tempo 3-4 times. Every 3-4 times of doing it perfectly, move the notch on the metronome up one click. If you start to feel sloppy, go down a few notches and work back up. Stay patient and don’t skip clicks. Should take about 2-3 hours if you are diligent. Eventually you will be fast enough to actually execute legs comfortably.

http://www.metronomeonline.com/ If you use this and start at 56, you should be able to do it by the time you reach 96.

sounds like black magic but I’ll try it

When I used to practice Sakura’s srk fadc cl.hp combo I tried to practice it different ways. One day I might practice it with music and no game sound, sometimes with game sound on. At the end I tried to practice it with eyes closed as well, everything to try train my muscle memory get used to the timing.

I only recently started practicing c.hp x legs loop, so it hasn’t gotten back to that point of obsession yet.

I went from stick to pad and amazingly: it’s about as easy/hard on stick as it is on pad, with a default layout.

The way I do it on pad:
cr.hp~lk~mk (index on HP, thumb slide from lk to mk)
lk~mk~hk (2nd slide; the hk is done with my index finger, which slides down from HP; it hurts a bit if you do it for a long time).

On stick I did
cr.hp~mk~lk (ring, middle, index, respectively)
slide lk~mk~hk (middle finger only)

Can someone show it to me on a pad…i cant do it… :frowning:

My piano method that I’ve seen not posted.

cr.hp plink cr.lk (ring on hp thumb on lk)

mk hk mk hk (index on mk rink on hk)

mash mk with index

key is to seperate cr.hp plink lk with the mk hk part. now all thats left is to figure out how to time the mk legs link.

IMO the mk part isn’t the hard part :stuck_out_tongue:

that mk legs link into whatever is probably the hardest 1 frame link in the game. havent found any visual cues that work, it’s all just feel. atleast with ryu’s f hp link into cr.hp i can watch the hit sparks. this link i cant, or maybe its because im practicing on pc which is slow as shit.

i could just do the baby cr.lp to cr.hp link and call it a day lol.

For me, once I get the legs out it’s all good

I have been practicing this. In the videos is it just me or does this do very little damage to where it wouldnt even be viable to do it in Tournament play. I mean it looks like it takes forever to win the round. Arent there any other more damaging yet equally safe punishes out there?

The best part of leg loops is the stun, building meter and meterless damage. It has its uses. I can’t think of any thing meterless that does as much damage to be honest…
