What are the exact inputs for Chun's Lightning Legs Loop? and O/S Thread

Yeah, after failing so much, slide methods are the easiest and most reliable for me too. I find also for problematic chars like Cammy and Rose, you shouldnt extend the second leg loop - opt for finishing with normal LL then link st.LP -> St.FP, as a general rule this is the safest if you mess up at any point you wont get punished so serverely either. It is still a decent combo FA lv2 crumple -> Cr.HP->LL(FK)xxMp extend ->Cr.HP-LL(FK)->St.lp->FP = 275-ish meterless damage. Obviously more if HK-LL FADC -> cl.Mp->LL -> Cr.HP->LL->st.LP->st.FP around 340ish, i think need to confirm next time i go training. Incedently i found this to work on adon, dunno who else it works on

cl.Mp->(FK)LL xx MK -> Cr.HP->(FK)LL xx MK -> Cr.HP->(FK)LL -> St.lp->FP: does nasty 291 meterless damage.
Cl.FK->(FK)LL->FADC->cl.Mp->(FK)LL xx MK -> Cr.HP->(FK)LL xx MK -> Cr.HP->(FK)LL -> St.lp->FP 371 damage. I guess time to make a new video. one hell of a punish for a whiffed shoryuken costing 2 bars.

I like your infinites on your vids supersquaddy. If you like i’ll add that content in the new video if you dont mind.

just been messing around with hakan corner

Trying this on pad. When I get the cr. hp to mk legs, do I press the mk 4x times really fast? Also, with just that combo, how many hits should I be getting? Is the 4x mk the max amount?

correct crhp xx hk LL xx mk LL is 9 hits i think. (character/state specific)

you are cancelling the crhp into HK LL, then extending this into MK LL

If I had a dollar for every time that question was asked:

and you weren’t around that much lol

Not posting and not being around is not the same thing

Not not not

I should have added

don’t take it the wrong way

Supersquaddy: thanks for the help.

Skatan: thanks for being very helpful, extremely helpful I should add. I was just asking because I looked at the post and on desk’s site just so I could grasp it better and had not seen what I was looking for. Maybe it’s a stupid question, maybe it’s irrelevant to you, but I’m still learning the game and thought it would help me. I’m sorry I’m not as versed at the game as you are. I suppose the world owes you gratitude for your incredible service and sacrifice. Thank you.

Or maybe you should just read the first post in the thread titled the same as the very question you are asking, I dunno.
The world owes me nothing, but the world also owes you nothing.
If you wanna get pissy about getting hazed for asking a question answered in the first post then you’re not gonna have a fun time in life.

I’m not getting prissy, unlike you. If no one answered I woulda been fine. It’s not that big of a deal if people wanted to ignore it. You had to be a drama queen and go ‘oh lord, another question. What will I ever do?’. That won’t get you far in life either, but I guess you can judge me just one a question. I didn’t see how much hits exactly you get with just the first rep, so I thought I could just ask. Not a big deal if people ignored my post. Did I bitch about it? Nope. I didn’t post asking why is no one answering me, did I? Whatever gets you through your day man, whatever does.

Thanks again supersquaddy.

I swear these shitty lurkers are really funny

For what it’s worth that question does get asked a lot. And the info is readily available for people who simply take the time to look.

I heard that practicing the legs loop for tournament consistency is one of the 58 legendary chinese torture methods

I heard that if you reach 99 hits with no sound, you get the sf2 sce full ending

I have been practicing the loop again lately, my execution on it has gotten really shitty.

I still go about it the same way, but I piano the keys so quickly that I often register plinks near the end of the piano which ends up giving me EX Legs. Aside from just slowing down the inputs, is there a particular technique you guys use to avoid this?

Make it rhythmic: http://www.metronomeonline.com/

I just gave up on learning this loop

I’m better of training other stuff that I really need lol

I also half gave up, there’s still so much to master with chun. I just keep it in the back of my mind

Honestly, I’m farting around with b+mk (who hasn’t) but it’s kind of paying off!

My fingers are too fat and slow to piano effectively, I have heard that using the double plink method avoids getting ex legs on the end (hp~mk, hk~mp,hk~mp)

I kinda wish I had pianoed from the start as I think its more effective and causes less dropped/double inputs

The key for hitting the loop for me will always be sound, I havent been able to find any visual que to hit the plinked crhp and cant seem to hit it as well with the sound off.
