First of all - wow Marn, that was an amazing post (unless you were trolling, in which case, best troll ever). I’ve never met you (but I probably will soon enough because I’m in NYC and finally getting out to more tourneys), and I try to keep an open mind about people, and that post is exactly why, because I’ve seen you throw out a lot of arrogance/anger in the past, but obviously there is a lot more to you than that 
I totally agree about WC/EC… I mean it’s great to defend your home turf and have pride in where you’re from and the people you play with, but for God’s sake we’re all just humans enjoying and trying to do well at playing a game. If we cooperate/get along/help each other it’s better for EVERYONE!!! It’s really not that complicated So yeah huge props for all of the good vibes in that post - it sounds like you had a weekend that you’ll never forget. Bring those good vibes back to NYC and pass them on, and pump that money you won into our economy 
If I didn’t have a football game to go to (Alabama over Virginia Tech… roll fucking tide), I might have flown out because it sounded like it was going to be something special, and despite the issues, from the live stream it seems like it was a huge success. The stream and SF4 finals in general were SO FUCKING AWESOME ::goes into overload convulsions of awesomeness:: Maybe go a bit easier on the sauce next time but gootecks and John Rog (he was commentating too, right?) were ON POINT setting the atmosphere. I was hype as hell sitting by myself at 3:00 am watching. I didn’t think anything could top EVO’s SF4 finals, and I guess there was a lot less riding on this, but I have to say again GOD DAMN THOSE FINALS WERE RIDICULOUS HOLY FUCK.
So yeah, I’m coming to this next year.

Was that your Chun I faced in Pool 1? I was the salty dude in the Steelers jersey using Balrog. If so, ggs man! I was not expecting to be thrown out of dashes in my very first match. You gave me a hell of a wakeup call forcing me to climb Losers :tup:

Overall a good tournament. Other than the scheduling issues, I think it was ran pretty well. Good job, Mr. John Rog.
For those who stole sticks, you guys suck.
Unfortunately, I was unable to challenge SoCal peoples to RPS. I wanted to challenge Valle, Watts, Cami, Kara, Keno, and Kai (Fuerte is such a RPS character), but only played Keno (and lost) :[. I bugged Cami at a bad time and never came back to ask for the match o_o.

WCW was my first tournament ever and it was a fucking blast. I’m having trouble remembering everyone’s names + SRK handles after the drinks and no sleep but it was good times in Room 400! If you were there we probably played each other (I was the Sak player in red shorts) so GGs to all.
Impromptu HBO was also fun too and wtf “peppperr tweeesterr” 
Where there any footage for HDR? I didn’t see any matches if there were.
