So whats the most optimal Solo Wesker Combo Meter wise?? Someone annotate it for me.

Anyone know if Wesker can get any use out of Greyhound assist at the end of a combo when hsd is high? Mid-combo its easy, just gunshot+hawk, simpo. But at the end I can’t seem to make it work (not necc expecting a full relaunch, just a way to OTG and super a la how Unknown uses Viper’s assist.

It may not be possible, but figured id ask before closing the book on it. Wesk Sent Hawk till I die regardless :slight_smile:

There isn’t anything that allows me to land anything, probably because greyhouhd doesn’t have a set amount of hitstun like taskys arrows or drones.

How do you use drones in a combo?

I have a small extension but that’s it.

Yeah, for the arrows you can def do a simple relaunch earlier in a combo, but by the time the combo ends, prob just better to hold onto it so you can mix up on oki. I know beams like disruptor are supposed to be the theoretically ‘better’ assist for wesker, but the ability to threaten hi-lo in addition to left-right makes me personally like arrows wayyyy more. Plus, as an added bonus, I’m relatively good w/ hawkeye. Lol (and was pleasantly surprised to see how sick he is w/ drones!)

As for drones extensions, mine is prob the same as yours. I kinda freestyle it rather than use a precise sequence (and would love to learn such a sequence), but after an otg, ill do cM + drones, sH xx qcf+L xx L teleport. Then as the drones approach OTG gunshot, popping them up into the drones, then something like jH xx Maximum Wesker.

Edit: I also saw Unknown call drones + launch, sj MMHS, they land on drones, another jS on way down, jump up and jS for a third time. He did it in the corner, tho I haven’t played since to test it so not sure if it requires corner.

You should be able to connect stuff after gunshot (even qcf+M) if you are calling the assist before the gunshot input.

The only thing I get most of the time is doing:
Some combo portion, Ghost Butterfly xx delayed teleport, falling air down :h: + :a1:, land cr. :h:, Cobra Strike xx :l: teleport, Samurai Edge (lower shot), drones hit TK phantom dance.

This is reliable in long combos too. Unfortunately, if HSD is extremely high, the OTG gunshot will pop them out of the combo.

It’s better to do falling down Gunshot instead of the second S due to the damade scaling on the extension Unknown uses, either way you’re going to face the corner doing it.

Get your Jaguar Dash combos down before worrying too much about optimal assist extensions, since they’re usually incorporated in some way.

Any ideas on how to throw Vergil Rising Sun assist into combos? I’m exploring, but the best I can come up with is LMH qfcL+L, gunshot, crM H qfcL + L, Rising Sun + gunshot plink, sj MHS Maximum Wesker

Why are you not using Rapid Slash?

Do you guys have any extensions using Shuma mystic ray assist?
Glasses on - I’m doing cr.lmh cobra :l: > tele > gunshot > cr.mh + ray > cobra :l: > rhino charge…

Idk how to fit in the wall bounce but I have a dante extension for that.

I don’t know whether this has been discovered, but if you do Wesker’s L command grab, you can immediately do Cobra Strike straight afterwards.

You should do dash cr.h into cobra strike for more damage, it shouldn’t mess with the hsd when going for optimal damage.

What’s the optimal conversion for Wesker off a Vajra assist hard knockdown?

You have to go straight to wall bounce or just a single cobra strike rep with a second assists for both glassen on and off. Hitstun is really wonky so you don’t get anything special afaik.
