Wesker Combo Thread

I wrote a meterless version at the end. I can relaunch with Strange bolts assist and get an air :h::s: afterward. I haven’t playtested outside of my team. I’m sure you can work any kind of standard assist for Wesker to combo from in there.

I recorded a video, but it was with my phone, so the quality is pretty crappy. I’ll upload it anyway. Gimme a bit.

Nice, I’m sure you could get an MHS off of Spencer’s then since I believe it has less hit stun decay than Strange bolts I’m sure. I’d love to see the video regardless of quality, I just want to eyeball the timing so that I do it right when I get to try it out later. Thanks a bunch!

I often wind up accidentally doing something like this in matches, and I’ve always wondered how to incorporate it into something really practical. I bet this looks incredibly swag as well.

Did wesker got nerfed in this last update? I cannot get to work the LMH 236L~L 3H MH 236M combo, 236M is always whiffing.
Probably is my excecution, but I don’t know.

Don’t think so. The timing on that last part can be tough, I see a lot of people drop it, so it’s probably just execution. Or, I’m sure you’re just leaving the notation out, but just in case, you should probably do crouching m, standing H before trying to do qcf M

Came up with some solo Wesker Air Gun Loop combos. No Xfactor. No Assists. Glasses off.

1st Combo:
j.:s:, c.:m:, :s.:h: xx :qcf::m:, j.:h: x :df::h:, land, j.:h: x :df::h:, land, j.:h: x :df::h:, land, :s: j.:m::m::h::s:, :dp::l:, :df::h: xx :a1::a2:
Damage: 851,200

*Note: Depending on where you are on the screen, you may need to cancel Ghost Butterfly with Phantom Move L before the first j.H. If you do this, the combo will work anywhere on the screen.

2nd Combo:
:dp::h:, j.:h: x :df::h:, land, j.:h: x :df::h:, land, j.:h: x :df::h:, land, j.:h: x :df::h:, land, :s:, j.:m::m::h::s:, :dp::l:, :df::h: xx :a1::a2:
Damage: 698,000 (can probably mash more for above 700k)

3rd Combo:

Ok here’s my combo, I think I left my video camera back at my apartment so I’ll record it later:

Wesker(low shot)/Captain America(Charging Star)/Spencer(Slant Shot)

Teleport H, jS, 2H xx Cobra Strike xx Teleport L(if you crossed up with jS), Low Shot, 2H xx Low Shot, 2HS, jH, jS, A2, Low Shot, Ghost Butterfly, dash back, 2HS, jHS, A1, Low Shot, S, jS, Air Teleport H, Low Shot

~800,000 damage, builds just around 2 bars of meter

To set it up:
on incoming characters, do a jump loop/air throw/crossup, then combo them back into the corner
reset with slant shot, hit them with stand H once they’re grounded but before the combo ends then cancel into Teleport H
if they block, the jS, 2H xx Cobra Strike xx Teleport L makes it safe, no need to hit confirm

Notes:
Doesn’t work on lighter characters(can’t get the 2nd 2H after low shot early on) without slight modifications
This combo can be modified for any standard Wesker team and to work universally
is itself a modification of the standard hard knockdown, wallbounce BNB everyone knows, so execution shouldn’t be an issue
Wesker should never have to use bar once he’s in glasses-off mode unless you can’t afford one reset
Only combo I could find with higher meterless damage used 2D1C liberation assist in lieu of Charging Star and a couple extra Ghost Butterflies for good measure
I didn’t bother testing how much this combo would do if I THC canceled the last low shot, since there’s no point. No character will survive even the most basic reset into this combo.

what’s the best “happy birthday” combo for wesker when you catch 2 characters? the OTG gunshot only hits 1 character, right?

probably just ending an air series with maximum wesker

yeah the OTG only gets you one (one bullet i suppose), so you gotta figure something else out - as kataridragon said, air series into Max Wesker (xx X-Factor xx Max Wesker maybe); or if you have a char that will OTG on DHC you can try that.

Just broke 920k with this broken ass character using only one assist (Hidden Missiles) and one meter (glasses off). I was really tryin to avoid maining him even though I love his character, but damnit he is just too good to ignore. Gonna put Magneto on Hyper Grav and see if I can pass a million. Will have notations and a (crappy quality) vid for you guys tomorrow. Been practicin this shit all night and I’m tired af

Glasses off command throw combo with Wesker-B/Magneto-A (Disruptor)/Dormammu-A (Dark Hole)

QCB+L, dash c.H xx QCF+L, dash, df+H, c.H xx QCF+L, dash, df+H, c.M c.H xx QCF+L, dash, A1, df+H, S, j.MMHS, A2, df+H, QCF+M~L (wait for the end of Dark Hole), QCF+ATKx2

Does about 789k if you hit them in the middle of the screen with Maximum Wesker. You can do teleports instead of dashes, but since the objective is to center your opponent with the force push (QCF+M), you can’t get that if you just teleport after every palm.

Alternatively, after QCF+M, you can do QCF+L~L, df+H for the reset opportunity.

guys, i’m having a hard time with this combo. i see alot of wesker players use it (some do different comboes :/) and it looks real good.

the notations are cr. A cr. B st. C S BBCS gunshot.

don’t know what i’m doing wrong.seems like the air combo won’t work half the time. the gunshots pretty tough too…

You have to tiger knee the ABC.
