i dont think you can. i just tested. if its possible then it must be some super strict timing. I will continue trying tho

Edit: nvm i just got it. you have to hit him at the top of his jump arc and u must be under. then instantly u have to hit him with cl hp so it hits him at the very tip of the move. thats the only way i got it to juggle. strict timing

Thanks for testing it. It does seem really strict though. I was hoping we would be able to substitute this combo for the j.mp > j.mp > Ultra II since cl.hp does more damage than j.mp.

not sure if it has been already been mentioned but you can land an ultra after an AA cl.HP in the corner

As far as resets j.mp st.jab dash puts you on the other side of the enemy.Now if you delay the dash you end up on the same side. Also focuse crumple cr.lk dash also crosses under the opponent which is sexy.They are also FADC’s but are more costly.

It also looks like you have to be in the corner too since the cl. HP knocks them away too far.

So just thought I’d lay down some of that new Juri FSE technology.

These few combos use 2 bars, standing or crouching,anywhere on screen are hitconfirmable, and take ~3-4 seconds off the FSE clock.

These were tested on Ryu so I assume they work on most if not all characters.

1)cr.lk s.mp s.HK cr.HP lk pinwheel FADC s.lk s.mp cr.HP sweep. 375 damage, untechable knockdown.

2)cr.lk s.mp s.HK (2 hits) cr.HP lk pinwheel FADC s.lk s.HK (2 hits) cr.HP HK pinwheel 411 damage.

3)F+MK s.lk s.mp s.HK (2hits) lk pinwheel FADC s.lk s.MP s.HK (2hits) cr.HP HK pinwheel. ~ 375 damage.

4)F+MK s.lp s.mp s.HK (2hits) lk pinwheel FADC s.lk s.MP cr.MK cr.HP sweep. ~ 359 damage, untechable knockdown.

Combos to test :

  1. F+MK cr.MP st.HK (2 hits) lk pinwheel FADC s.lk s.MP st.HK (2hits) cr.HP HK pinwheel

  2. F+MK cr.MP st.HK (2hits) lk pinwheel FADC s.lk s.MP cr.MK sweep

Note that on these combos cr.HP will whiff directly after s.MP midscreen so replace s.MP with cr.MK.

I’ll try to post up a vid of these tomorrow but these are pretty damn annoying to do on with my pad’s button config and I know I can’t do them on stick yet…so yeah might take me a while.

what’s up my dude! didn’t know you were interested in juri. i tried this last night.

AA cl.st.hp into U2 only works in the corner as far as i’ve tested. it’s a good setup for an opponent who neutral-jumps in the corner hoping to hit something. juri can easily dash under and get this done. mid-screen may be character-specific or not possible at all. i tested with chun as my training dummy (i was measuring her health bar, she still has 900 shieeeet)

as it’s been said on the thread, j.mp, AA cl.st.hp into U2 works the same. corner only ><

damage-wise, best damage setup is j.mp x ex dive kick into u2 (546 or something, beasty). i’ll see if there’s a way to do it without cancelling the dive kick from j.mp (ala trial mode) mid-air as that is just unreliable.

I don’t know if this has been pointed out yet, but Juri has a Kara throw… A pretty decent length kara throw might I add… About 3 small squares in the practice stage… To do this you gotta hit mp>lk+lp. HK + throw does a bit of a kara throw too, but not as long as mp… Tho it looks like it could have gone further…

Counter hit dive kick without any follow up on it can be juggled into ultra 2. It feels like some characters depending on how high hey get hit up and how fast they fall don’t need to be counter hit for it to work. I’ve been TK’ing lk dive kicks in block strings and having a lot of success with it. The best part is you can TK it jumping back so it hits them so low you’re pretty much always safe on block.

some combos to keep you from taking that pinwheel risk. because as you may know, even with good spacing, even lk pinwheel is -4 on block (-9 if opponent is crouching. 2nd hit will whiff instead of chipping. BEWARE). these should be safe as block strings so you won’t have to use lk pinwheel as much. but do mix it in here and there so it messes with the opponent’s reaction, and most importantly, chip. lk pinwheel chip is 25 for standing opponents and 15 for crouching.

cr.lk, st.lk/st.lp, far.st.mk (best for damage and space. st.lp will whiff on most crouchers)
cr.lk/cr.lp, st.lp. far.st.mp (good space, kara throw setup? st.lp will whiff on most crouchers)

esp in the hakan matchup, you can bully him with these block strings and zoning normals. far.st.mk is a godsend here. against deejay, far.st.mp works on almost every blocked sobat kick.

juri has good ass pokes, please use them! avoid her gimmicks as they’re easily punishable (random dive kicks, pinwheel pressure).

Can anyone with the game check if you can j.MP and then juggle with an HK fireball? From there you could probably FADC ultra. You still have to land an AA j.MP though so…

Update please: cr.mk > fuhajin release > FADC > Ultra works and is an AMAZING punishment tool. Cr.mk is a really good poke/counter poke and I get my opponents when they try to out footsie me. You can substitute cr.mk with cr.hp or any of her BnBs which you can cancel into the release. It’s her equivalent to a Shoryu FADC Ultra. I love it.

Been interested in her ever since they announced her! I love her haha.

Listen to the man. He knows what’s up. If only her walk speed was slightly faster… sigh It’s all good though. =)

cross up j.mk cr.lk st.lp cr.mk to pinwheel is nice

Replace cr.mk with cr.fp and you’ll get more damage out of it.

Anti-air level 3 focus in the corner can be followed up with Jumping MP into Ultra 2 or mixup.

Yeah, this can’t be overstated. I didn’t see it mentioned yet but you can do it in the corner without FADC, it’s just a tight link.
