Counter hit combo:

Overhead > st.lk > cr.mk xx HK/EX pinwheel.

Overhead also links into cr.lk on CH. You essentially have +3 frames on hit so work with it. Coupled with cl.lk and kara throw, her OH is a really good tool to rape OS throw attempts from your opponent.

I went into a little more detail in the strategy section so check it out. Juri’s pressure game may not be all that bad close range (thanks to her strong Kara throw).

Another combo Zujira!

Basic combo into Ultra I (FSE).

Same way as I combo into Ultra II with FADC fb release.

cr.mk xx lk fireball release > FADC > Ultra I (timing is really strict).
(any variation BnB combo ending with cr.mk xx lk fireball release can be FADC into Ultra I so long as you’re in range).

So far I’ve only be able to get a cl.lk/cr.lk and st.lp right after activation but it works really well and that’s more than enough. No need for a focus crumple after fireball release.

It’s basically a “no shit” combo that I’m surprised it hasn’t been posted/found out yet.

lol Kouryuu you posted that before I actually had the video up. But yeah I had tested that after I found out about your Ultra 2 setup and it’s good stuff. I can’t seem to link anything besides st.lk/cr.lk either so I don’t know if it’s possible (and I doubt it is).

A couple of other things she has for counterhit combos : st.lp/lk -> cr.HP xx EX wheel. st.lp/lk -> sweep and lk pinwheel FADC st.MP pinwheel, can’t seem to get this to work with other pinwheels.

by trying cr.mk xx lk fireball release > FADC > Ultra II , I accidentaly missed my FADC and connected this : cr.mk xx lk fireball release > Ultra II

St.lk and cr.lk are the easiest to link after activation since it’s Juri’s fastest moves (3 frames). I managed to pull of a st.lp but it was a bit more difficult. But that’s as far as I got. Regardless, seeing as how this is FSE we’re talking about, that’s all she really needs to turn the momentum in her favor.

I think the best follow up would be to end the CC with a sweep and rape them on their wake up with Oki. I actually think it’s always a good idea to end the CC with a sweep unless the timer is close to running out, in which case I would try to fish for her most damaging combo.

I’m not sure how useful this is, or if its new or not but I found out a while ago that she has a reset off of her dive-kick while in FSE. After any landed divekick, don’t follow up with the next two kicks. Instead, land and poke with f.mp. This elbow resets and can leave room for the f.mk overhead set up.

yeah definitely sweep is the best option because sweep sets up her j.lk crossup which beats autocorrect shoryu, or j.mk which is better, and j.mp if done at the same approach angle as the j.mk will look like the j.mk crossup before you press anything but then it is not a crossup

I am thinking of picking up Juri as a secondary, so I’ve been messing around with her a lot in training mode.

Here is another impractical/flashy combo:

j.HK > cr.HP xx Mid Fuhajin Release > cr.MK xx Low Fuhajin Release xx Focus Level 2 > Backdash > EX Shikusen > Ultra 2

i find her c.mk xx release > fadc > ultra very difficult to to pull off, do i need to be super fast or there is a special timing? i never had problems with other fadc ultra combos :frowning:

If you’re doing ultra 2 it shouldn’t be a problem. For me, that one is really easy and as long as the ultra comes out (I sometimes get EX fireball), I know it’s gonna land. Maybe you’re just a bit too slow or not used to FADCing Juri’s fireballs.

st.lp, cr.hp xx wheel works also without CH (against rufus, g2 check more chars)

Ok, so it doesn’t appear that you can land j.mk > c.mk xx release low fuhajin > Super. The super always seems to miss (though that could just be me, hah! ) .

HOWEVER…

It works if the j.mk is a cross-up!

So… j.mk crossup > c.mk xx release low fuhajin > Super. 429 damage. 240 stun.

EDIT: You can also - though this may have been mentioned elsewhere - do…

**close.fp > Super. for 470 damage **(I’m sure I managed to get 480 with one try but I haven’t managed to replicate it).

3 cr. lk does not work on Hakan
also is there some trick to getting cr. lk (#*) xx pinwheel? Can’t link it, but when i try to cancel nothing comes out or the dummy blocks
