What can they do for him? I’ve met many of these people and the vast majority of them are unemployed or dirt poor. How are they going to put money together to help the guy? He’s also rubbed a lot of people around NY/NJ the wrong way. Far as I can tell, he’s tolerated because he plays in so many local tournaments but they are not his “friends” per say, more like associates.
Let’s also not forget those who seem to be his closest friends live, at least, a thousand miles away. They are not traveling to Florida to help and can they be blamed? I wouldn’t expect family to come to see me so far away, let alone friends.
