he should be able to walk away getting probation, especially with no priors and witness testimony sounds like it will be in his favor that the injury she suffered from was not intentional (even though that wont let him completely off the hook). id be surprised if he actually had to do anytime in jail for this plus probation. but i guess that also depends on the severity of that witness tampering charge. there are a few different definitions that fall under that charge. since he doesnt seem to have any new violent charges against him, i assume the witness tampering falls under one of the more passive definitions of that charge, like
