Silver Rain, I’m really confused. I don’t see any times on the spread sheet, and I don’t know how to report my results. I can’t email them cause I can’t have xbl and internet going at the same time… HELP!!! Oh and 10:30 works for me.

And Damdai won our opening tournament. Of course that scrubby Ken player won’t be back next week, but will be back the week after so next weeks Tuesday tourney is wide open! Will Thelo recover from a personally disappointing fourth place finish? Will PFW91 be back to make another surprising run? Will Zass not choke away an opening game in a grand final again??? Interesting facts about this tournament:
De Mavrick took Marsgatti’s spot for this event because he had class and we couldn’t tell him we moved it back an hour?
PFW91 went to the losers bracket after the first round but managed to sonic boom his way to 3rd place, taking out Thelo who beat him in pool play
Zass looked pretty much unstoppable winning his pool and going all the way to winner’s final before running into Damdai
Zass took care of business in the loser’s final beating PFW91 a second time to eliminate him and get his rematch vs. Damdai
Zass eschewing his Chun Li / Vega combo decided to play Bison vs. Ken, winning the first game, but unable to take the set.
Damdai won this week, interestingly enough, the only loss he took was in pool play to Marsgatti who couldn’t be here? coincidence???
Even with everyone wanting to watch every match live (and I can’t blame them) it still took less than 1 hour 40 minutes to finish the entire tournament.
Damdai won’t be back this week to defend, that slacker, but said he’d be back the week after so who will rise to the cream of the crop next week???
Friendly trash talk on Xbox Live Parties can be hilarious? scrubby Ken? only knows how to uppercut? LIMIT ONE THROW!!! LOL

FINALLY, almost all my wishes came true. Neither of the quebecers won the first event, but the guy who won can’t defend next week? can’t get everything I suppose!
NOTE: Because of the SRK outage today, people have until tomorrow at midnight PST to signup for league play for next Monday! If you are already in the league, by default you are put into pools for the next week, if you can’t make it PM me or e-mail me or hit me up on XBL and let me know.

LAST FINAL SUPER ULTRA NOTE: I posted this in the fan art section and I didn’t get alot of love there from the SRK overseers, I think because I was linking to my e-mail, but we are holding a contest to design the logo for the WWL! If you have artistically inclined friends who you think could draw a nice banner logo… tell them to shoot me an e-mail. We’ll get all the entries in and then we’ll have a vote amongst league members for the one they like the best and we’ll make a decision. Obviously the winner won’t get anything today, but it’d be a good way for them to showcase some talent and maybe do future work for the website… so if you know anybody…
