The Ps3 Only thing is to help people train for EVO. That being said there are more than enough ps3 sticks floating around where you don’t NEED a ps3 stick to come. If you want to mod your stick thats cool but don’t let not having a ps3 stick stop you.

Are pad players allowed to map 3p and 3k buttons to R1 and R2? I would love to come down just to play and get better even if I don’t place well in the ranbats. I like that HAV made it clear that people should ask questions and engage in conversations. This takes a lot of the pressure off of being in the presence of people light years ahead of me in the game.
Also it says this place is in baltimore but how would I get there from the metro? That’s going to be my mode of transportation since I do not have a license to drive.

As for transportation, there’s no way to take the Metro up to Xanadu. The closest you could come would be to take the Metro to Amtrak, and catch a train to Baltimore. You’d be better off trying to find a ride. I’m sure there are people coming up today. Just post up with your location and see if anyone can help you out.
I live in Owings Mills, MD in the Garrison Forest area. The metro/mta/subway is really close to my house so I thought I could just get a day pass catch the subway and a couple busses. I could get picked up at the safeway supermarket in the garrison forest shopping center.
I would give an address since I don’t think anyone here is a psycho killer but I would hate to post it in a public thread. I doubt anyone would be willing to give me a ride.
I was hoping Rugi or Lane could hook me up with a ride, but they have finals today…:crybaby:

Yeah, we could have split that 10 and 10 easily. The train goes from owings mills to johns hopkins. It stopps at old court, milford mill, reisterstown plaza, rogers avenue, west cold spring, mondawmin, penn-north, upton, state center/cultural center, lexington market, charles center and shot tower along the way.
These are all Baltimore city areas or close to baltimore. Is it not possoble to get to Xanadu from any
of those locations?
EDIT: How early is early as possible? I would love to come weekly but it looks like scheduling conflicts can stop me from making it.
Yo, take the subway to the mondawmin stop and catch the 16 from there, drops u off like 5 mins walkin from Xanadu

Just ask the bus driver to let u off at Vero Rd near the UPS building, u literally walk down vero rite to Xanadu

Hey, if the event starts at 8 and registration is at 7. Should I come at 6 to get those casuals? Or should I come at 5? I’m really here for the casuals because I have better chance at fornicating with Scarlett Jo Hanson than going far in one the ranbats. The skill gap is just too large. I would pay and participate just so it doesn’t appear that my presence is worthless and a waste even though it is.
I would love to actually talk to people in person who know how to play rather than resorting to meeting them up online.
