We top tier, folks!

There was a lot of good competition there but maybe not the best representation. NCR this weekend. Get hyped!!

Bit too early to base his strength on one or two tournament results. Need more data to form a conclusion.

Azza is speaking the truth. You can’t let one tournament determine the strength of a character. Plus it was a 1000 plus players there so it’s really hard to make it out of pools.

RIP Bison 2016. He was never allowed to live.

Well he got to live in the betas before he was over nerfed.

Do you know how many tournaments Cammy won in USF4? Yet she was placed tier 3 and overpowered by a lot of ppl. Even if Bison didn’t do well iin the last tournament it doesn’t mean that the character is suddenly Trash.

He’s still top tier and dicously strong while being stupidly easy and forgiving in everything he does.

And i’m not asking for huge changes, just a little ones that would make him being on check, you could even give him an overhead to make up for the nerfs (not combeable pls)

According to this Link 11 times in just Super AE

Do you know how many Bison won? Zero

According to people that knows how to read: READ AGAIN BEFORE TALKING TRASH. USF4 USF4 USF4 . Do i need to repeat it again?

And what matters how many tournaments Bison won back then?? We are not talking about SFIV Bison we are talking about SFV Bison. Did you know that Dalshim was trash in sfiv? With your reasoning he must be trash now too!!!

Are you drunk? Why did you post that piece of shit? Did you even think on what you were writing?

If anything he’s not forgiving with no reversal outside CA, lower than normal stun, no 3-frame jab and that walk speed.

Thing is, I think a lot of bison players are asking the wrong stuffs.

I never thought he was top tier and still don’t think he’s top tier now.

You’re funny.

According to this previous message it appears that you do.

Well you were talking about SF4 and then when I pointed out the absurdity of the Cammy/Bison tournament win comparisons you decided you were not.

Well since you seem incapable of looking up anything yourself the answer is 7 Tournament wins for Cammy in USF4 for 2014.

The fact that he is lacking basic options makes him a lot more difficult than other chars. For most of us here and for any tournament player, execution is a non-issue in this game. The difficulty is the gameplan and choosing right options against the opponent. It’s more difficult when you don’t have all the options.

He seems easy because good frames and good hitboxes on his normals just blow up scrubs. Get over it.

Your right, one or two tournaments results don’t indicate he’s trash, but they don’t indicate he’s top tier either.

I think he’s strong but not stupidly easy. His anti air’s require considerable more effort than most other characters due to their slow start up. Its hard to react to random jumps when your focusing on footsies.
He’s got no answer for cross ups and has a null zone in front of him where C.HP whiffs against jump in’s. The priority on his anti air’s is fairly average as well.
He really struggles to get up once floored even mid screen. Characters with reversal options like a DP have to take far less meaty pressure than Bison does.

Look at his footsies game.
He has the slowest forward walk in the game. Joint second worst walk backwards speed.
His dash is third slowest in the game.
When your outside of S.MK range your options are Knee Press, Pyscho Axe, C.HK or forward dash.
Bison can’t simply walk back into range to start poking again, he’s too slow.
Knee Press LK and MK can be punished if spaced incorrectly on block but even if spaced correctly they are negative on block offering the advantage back to the opponent. Only EX is +1 on block which is an excellent move but still costs an EX bar. Knee Press has between 13-19 frames of start up, during that time your opponent is not going to be idle and will often be able to counter poke or throw a fireball. They can fish for Knee Press with neutral jump and punish hard. With V-Trigger Knee Press start up is slower and you have to use different spacing to make LK and MK Knee Press safe. Yes they have some invincible frames but its not sometime Bison can rely on with any consistency. Not saying Knee Press is a bad move but its not an all conquering super move.
Pyscho Axe is a good move but it has 15 frames start up, susceptible to counter pokes.
C.HK is a gamble as its always been.
Forward dash is 22 frames in duration, and Bison’s fastest normal is 4 frames, throw is 5 and S.HK is 9, so opponents will have between 26-31 frames to counter poke him which means not a consistent tool at high level of play, but still worth it on occasion. Its long range is a double edge sword, it doesn’t move me into footsie range, it moves me into point blank range.

Having said that, I’m not saying his footsie game is bad, but it take a fair bit of effort to get use to movement restrictions. Saying he’s stupidly easy is not going to get you any sympathy around here I’m afraid.

I doubt bison is top tier.

Bison garbage tier. No bisons out of pools so far in NCR

Bison smoked again, two majors in a row and no top 32

I just want his psycho crusher back. Maybe that’ll change things within the tier

I think i’ve only seen 2-3 Bisons all night.
