Got passed old man. Falcon Punched his ass! but now I’m on the ground fighting him, but he has no life bar? What gives?
Maybe Nero is a cousin of Dante & Vergil. Sparda’s nephew…

I’m assuming Heaven or Hell doesn’t apply to bosses right?
It does apply. :wgrin:
this guy could probably do it. although this is SoS i think, he gets the “no damage” bonus at end of the mission. 2nd link is Berial.
i’ve watched this video so many times…
Just beat the game (Devil Hunter mode). OMG it was so amazing. Gotta say I liked Nero alot more than I thought I would, and the cutscenes were excellent with lotsa range.
So… How would everyone stack up 4 against 3? For me, atm, it’s hard to say just yet.
I seriously love this game. Getting some items for Son Of Sparda difficulty by playing Devil Hunter.
I’d say DMC 4 is the better game. Switching Dante’s styles during a fight is too cool, along with Neros Devil Bringer. Plus the game plays and looks really good too.
In fact, the whole thing is just simply damn good. I couldn’t simply summarize the good stuff about it without making a long ass post about it.
how to beat him
You have to use the DB when he tries to punch you, basically block his punch with a punch of your own. After you hit both hands his head will come down, DB and you win.
As for Nero…
stuff about Nero
Alpha actually thinks that he’s a descendant of Sparda, but he’s human because the bloodline has been so watered down. For example, Sparda hooked up with a human LONG before he met Eva/had Dante and Vergil, and the human had kids and so on until getting to Nero, who through some incident they don’t show but we know about through the storyline had his arm change. Maybe he came into contact with a Devil Arm or something related to Sparda and reacted?
I really think DMC3 was better. DMC4 has repitition issues… like having to fight almost all the bosses THREE FUCKING TIMES. Capcom is getting lazy and there’s no damn excuse for this.
Well, I can already beat Credo without taking a hit, but I can’t say the same about the other bosses (or just random bullshit enemies like Blitz or those arm waving guys), so I’d get my ass destroyed in Hell or Hell.
Hell, I don’t think I’d even be able to beat Dante 1 in that mode.
My thoughts
That’s actually not a bad idea. Considering that Sparda first sealed off the demon world 2000 years ago, he had plenty of time to meet and knock up other women besides Eva. You could then argue that whatever was left of Vergil/Nelo Angelo’s soul somehow found its way into Nero, making the Devil Bringer and awakening Sparda’s power.
I found this interesting:

The Demo for the game on XBL was not only dl’ed over 1 million times, but it’s the fastest downloaded demo in Live’s history. If this translates to good sales, then we might see some DLC after all. If Kobayashi changes his mind.
Personally, I’m hoping for more of a DMC4: SE. Made so that you can play Nero’s levels with Dante and vice versa, and ideally with perhaps an extra 5 levels just to flesh things out.
Did you try Secret Mission 9? D:
Yeah, like telling us more about Nero and Vergil.
Beat it! Awesome game!
Whats up with Gloria? She just came out like three times in the whole game, or is Trish disguised as her from the beginning? & Lay doesn’t really play a role in this game huh, other than she hunts devils…
How many endings are there, two?
I haven’t had much time to play this game. Just got to mission 17 on devil hunter mode. First I thought Nero was broken in this game, but after playing as Dante I must say…THAT NIGGA IS ALL TYPES OF BROKEN!
Jesus, I’m bringing chaos with the Lucifer, gilgames, pandora’s box, and instant style switching. Hell just using the rebellion I’m killing 6 enemies at a time with stylish combo’s. I can’t wait to get SOS mode. Cause im breezing through these stages even with the secret missions.
Anyone know the best way of getting proud souls quickly? I’m trying to max out both Dante and Nero before hitting up Son of Sparda mode.
man, dante’s part seems so tacked on. i mean, you hardly fight anyone and it’s a straight shot back to the start. he has so much more depth than nero and you don’t even really get to do much with it
That’s the one where you can’t get hit, right? Yeah, it was relatively easy, but I did fail it a bunch of times. I can’t even begin to fathom playing the whole game like that.
So far, I’ve done every secret mission, except for 8. Getting those 5 parries in a row is pretty fucking hard.
I would also like to know. Those prices are getting ridiculous now (20k for Table Hopper 2? SERIOUSLY!?).
I just keep fighting the last boss
