We Shall Never Surrender - The Devil May Cry 4 Thread - Come on, babes. Let's rock!

Yeah, nothing’s cooler than a molecule over someone’s eye. I think it was CO2 or something.

i bbought the game i couldnt resist lol. installing now

I’m gonna run by Best Buy later today and see if DMC4 is out.

Anyway, I might have missed this in the thread, butdoes anyone know if this game has a option to up the speed to 120% like in DMC3:SE? I was playing that all weekend and then played the DMC4 demo last night…it seemed hella slow.

lol . .well no shit dude.

I didnt even know the was an option to increase the speed in SE:wonder:

Me neither.

…the fuck you guys talking about?

Turbo mode. You can switch it on in the SE version of DMC4.

^ Dmc3

Oh yea.

Aw. I no longer get to be special by having the game a week early. On the other hand, hurry up and play so we can talk about shit in here.

I think I’ve been playing too much though. Last night I dreamt I had a Devil Bringer arm. I was using it to grab stuff and warp across to places. :wtf:

Again, the board game - I don’t think it’s that bad.

Mild Gameplay Spoiler

[details=Spoiler]It only comes up in Missions 7 and 19. 7 is pretty straightforward - Red brings out enemies, Blue brings out orbs, Purple makes you run away from these dual lasers (easy), Yellow warps you ahead a bit, and White is safe. As Reno pointed out before, the dice isn’t random at all. I figured out yesterday that if you hit it with the top face at 1, you’ll get a 6. So I think the pattern is inverse - 2 = 5, 3 = 4, and so on. You can probably utilize this to get through the game without even a fight.

Mission 19 is the doozy. There are five levels you have to progress through, and each level has the board game. Here, Purple is the exit (lasers are removed). However, there’s only one Purple, and you have to hit Purple exactly. If Purple is one space away and you roll a two, you’ll overshoot it and have to go back around. On the other hand, Yellow will warp you straight to Purple.

Then, when you DO hit Purple and get out of the game, you have to fight a boss before you proceed to the next level. When I figured this out, I was like “Capcom is on some BULLSHIT!” but it wasn’t that bad. This however was on DH so I’m not sure how much harder SoS will be yet.[/details]

Tomorrow can’t come any sooner god damnit.

Pics of the CE versions

PS3

Xbox 360

Just got that copy a little while ago. Now I feel special too.

Looks even better when you have your own. It’s a great feeling. I’m really thinking about watching that DVD first before I play the game. Might make me appreciate it a bit more.

The bonus DVD might have a lot spoilers in it. I’d say wait till you finish the game.

Well Got the call from Gamestop and its finally coming tomorrow evening. Definitely gonna get it first thing when i get off work.

Got it, but probably won’t be able to play till the weekend, so you probably won’t see me in here till I do, to avoid spoilers…

Resident evil style deaths need to return…

Still waiting for this game to arrive.

I hate those of you who have the game already.

Until tomorrow.

I don’t know if this was mentioned earlier in the thread, but the reason for the PS3 install thing could be that the Blu Ray drive is considerable slower than the DVD drive on the 360, so maybe Capcom wanted to make up for that thanks to the the PS3 Hard Drive being standart, just my guess and if anybody beat me to mention it well, I suck :p.
